Well done oneowl a loss is a loss! The best of luck misfor and wombat not that i think either of you need it Smile. I shall report back tomorrow myself.

CoconutAmericano · 11/12/2014 09:23

lost 2 lbs! im now 10 stone 9 lbs so 9 lbs to go. im very happy considering i was pre menstrual all week. i really upped my veg intake this week so will carry on with that tactic this week. good luck to the other ladies weighing in today x

MisForMumNotMaid · 11/12/2014 13:02

1.5lbs off. Pleased with that. Well done coconut. That target is so close its in touching distance. The best bit is its free when you hit target.

3 st 9.5lb down, 2 st 2.5lb to go. I'm going for 1lb less than you coconut, so that I can be 9 stone something.

It was a good group today. More people than last week and some amazing 5/ 6lb loses with people wanting to get back on track before Christmas. But also some impressive maintains/ low gains from people who'd had more than one night out but made choices.

Theres new packs in January with some new ways to mix things up a bit for bouts of speedy loss. Its our New Year presents apparently.

Worryingwombat · 11/12/2014 17:04

On my way to weigh in well done to you all for all the losses!! I better not let the side down!!! Lol xxxxx

Another fab loss wombat congratulations.

Enjoy chip shop curry sauce. It freezes well if you've some left over.

Have you thought about how you're going to manage Christmas?

I was going purple Christmas eve - Boxing day. But weigh in is moved to the Tuesday morning and I'm wavering to going purple from Tuesday lunch and taking the children to Pizza Express for lunch (we've got clubcard vouchers to use up). I'll have from the Saturday to the following Friday to be back on plan for the next weigh in and damage limitation. I wont go really mad but I wont be counting either.

tabulahrasa · 12/12/2014 19:48

Last year I just did what I fancied...or purple, lol, Christmas Eve - Boxing Day and New Year's Eve and day as well. (I'm in Scotland, so new year is a fairly big deal too).

I lost weight both weeks Confused which was nice, but unexpected, lol.

I'm planning to do the same again, though I'm not expecting to lies being so much closer to target, but, I'd rather enjoy myself, not go daft, but not be missing out either and deal with it in January.

tabulahrasa · 12/12/2014 19:49

Lose, not lies

tabulahrasa · 12/12/2014 20:03

Oh and dinner...if anyone is interested (just randomly does a whole load of posts in a row) is lasagne.

The white sauce is 500g of frozen cauliflower cooked, drained, blended with some of the water, a stock cube and a tub of phili lightest. (So 7.5 syns) about 80g of cheddar on top makes it an A choice each for 4 servings...but the sauce would work on pasta or anywhere you'd want a white sauce.

I know it sounds all sorts of wrong, but I heard about it in group and it works.

Worryingwombat · 12/12/2014 23:20

I have planned for Christmas Day off even though I am sticking to a healthy Christmas dinner with homemade veg soup Turkey veg and Sw roast potatoes but my MIL Christmas Day night Buffett will kill me and she makes me an amazing trifle so all bets are off!!!

Trying to stay good on Boxing Day not over stuffing myself and New Year's Eve is easy for me as I can not drink on my meds anyway!

I have not bought any chocolate that I like so feel safe in our house so no chocolate binging for me!!!

What everyone else planning x

I'm up this week at the moment. About 1lb on this time last week for no reason. Trying not to be bothered whilst baking for class parties and school fairs.

Youngest has finished nursery for the term a week before the elder two finish at their schools so there's far more snacking and general christmas nibbles starting to be around the house.

I've started the prep for my Christmas Eve mega feast and feel a little blaze about things slowly winding down. I am on plan but spending quite a bit of time thinking about mince pies, salt and vinegar crisps, glasses of mulled wine and Christmas morning salmon canapés with champagne.

Weigh in Thursday then last weigh in before Christmas Tuesday. 2lb to my Christmas target now very unlikely but I'm hoping that I can keep on plan till Tuesday.

Worryingwombat · 17/12/2014 21:22

Aarrrggghhh waiting for weigh in day tomorrow!!!!

Felling fat and frumpy

MisForMumNotMaid · 17/12/2014 21:49

I'm in need of a miracle. On my scales I'm now 2lb up. I've been good. Thinking about food lots - physically putting on virtual calories, that'll be my luck. I'll try to chalk it down to monthly fluctuations.

I've found a new website to play with www.modelmydiet.com Its fun. Where the weight comes off, for me, is remarkably accurate.

MisForMumNotMaid · 18/12/2014 12:30

2lb on! I'm sulking. I've not been bad or had any exciting nights out for it either. It just bloomin goes that way sometimes. Next weigh in is Tuesday so if I carry on on plan hopefully it'll just fall off again (and a bit more).

Still 3.5 stone down since slimming world. 4 stone down on this time last year. My Christmas day dress fits as do lots of lovely clothes in my wardrobe. Theres a fantastic selection of charity shops round me, i replenished my whole wardrobe for £40. Ten tops, two jeans, leggings. I had to pay full price for underwear though (well 75% off plus an extra 20% at the end of the end of debenhams sale).

Hopefully everyone else will fair better than me today. Good luck all.

oneowlgirl · 18/12/2014 18:54

Just a blip Mis & you're completely right to focus on the big picture - well done on a 4st loss in a year ! Also, if it's not deserved, you'll generally get a big loss next week.

Worryingwombat · 18/12/2014 22:27

Still an amazing overall loss mis! You are fantastic Grin

3 1/2 lb off for me that's 1 stone 12lb in 7 weeks would love 2lb off by Tuesday to get my 2 stone award for Christmas ??Smile

Had a great time at the group Xmas party a real laugh!!

So a serious week or 5 days food planning and lots of body magic for me!!! Come on Tuesday !!!GrinGrin

oneowlgirl · 19/12/2014 00:15

Well done Wombat - amazing results Grin

MisForMumNotMaid · 19/12/2014 06:44

2st for Christmas, or near enough, wow.

Its all that focusing on finding a frozen doll for your DS its left no time for thinking about food.

My eldest (11) is Autistic and my 3 yr old DD is just going through diagnosis having had a block of speech and language, so I say that in a very tongue in cheek way. The hours I've spent over the years trying to find an exact match to an obsession, the surprise eggs we've tracked down, the frankly ridiculous lengths we parents go to makes me both laugh and cry.

ChippingInLovesChristmasLights · 21/12/2014 13:46

Wombat...well done!! Both weeks! I somehow managed to miss your update last week, so thought it seemed like a long wait! I'm taking one for the team so that you can have your 2lbs on Tuesday. :)

CoconutAmericano · 21/12/2014 17:18

Omg wombat very well done to you! Good luck for tuesday misfor and wombat!
