I find it easy enough to stay on track during the average day, but the evenings are a killer, as are weekends. We seem to have endless visitors too at the moment which inevitably means baking / eating and wine. Yum but overall not helping

Fish at the moment, both me and DP are off work, so it is easy for us to stick to. I guess when we are both back at work in a couple of months, we will find the same problem :(

At the minute I save all my syns for evenings. I eat the lowest syn chocolate I can find, so that I can eat more of it Blush.

Yesterday I had 4 jaffa cakes, a milky bar, and then my HEB as bread with some jam on. All those in the evneing to stop me raiding the house for hidden easter eggs and god knows what! I suppose that is quite a lot to eat after tea, but I'm hoping I'll get better!

Just had a most gorgeous burger for tea. HEB for the roll, HEA for the chilli cheese. Onion ring 1.5 syns, pastrami free, burger itself was free as it was extra lean mince. Mmmmmmm.

I have the caramel hi-fi bars. Usually save my HEB so I can have two of them in the evening. Leaves me 15 syns for anything else I fancy Grin

Detective I used to drink a lot of diet coke but gave it up when I tried the low carb boot camp. I couldn't stick to the low carb but I now drink iced water. I also gave up cereal, bread and chocolate and although I occasionally have bread again it's not very often. I'm sure that's helping me.

That burger sounds delicious, iklboo.

Well I've weighed myself this morning and I've lost 3lb, woohoo Grin I'm really happy with that, especially as I went out for a 3 course meal on Sunday, had a few slip ups and not been 100% most days. It's given me the kick I needed to be 100% this next week though :)

iklboo, that burger sounds delicious! Well done issac.

Well,+1lb! Not too worried because I should have put on last week and didn't. Really need to get my arse in gear this week.

Still off the wine, and have now given up coffee. I'm fed up with using hexa for milk in coffee.

Def need to concentrate on portion control this week.

Well done everyone.
On phone so can't mention everyone individually

2.5lbs off for me this week so 12.5lbs so far

Would love to reach the stone next week but am eating out loads and actually going to be drinking in the first time since I don't know when.

Any recommendations for the best alcoholic thing to drink while out? I know diet coke and vodka isnt meant to be too bad but doesnt sound that nice to me...

IsaacCox · 16/05/2013 19:51

Well done all :)

Not sure about alcohol, Huffpot. I usually just have a glass of red wine.

I can't believe what has happened today... I've not craved any sweets/chocolate! Shock I've had no syns at all yet today and know I should have at least 5, but I just don't want any Confused

I'm also doing loads of exercise, I don't want to sit down. I'm currently sitting on one of those big inflatable balls having a rest from sit ups. I hope this carries on Grin

Oh I forgot to say, I bought a pedometer, a yoga mat and some weightwatchers scales today, that tell you you BMI etc too. I weighed myself at about 3pm and was 1lb 1/2 lighter than this morning Confused I'm not complaining Grin

Burger WAS delicious! Will be having that again. Gin & diet tonic is good when out. Wish more places did diet lemonade. Lime & soda good if you're not drinking alcohol.

I also bought some size 16 shorts in the New look sale and a size 16 top, to motivate me. I'm currently size 18 on top and 20 on bottom. I'm hoping they'll be too big by the time we go away in January but that I'll get to wear them this summer unless the summer was what we had last week

1.5lb off for me this week, after gaining 5lb between last weeks weigh and this ones Confused. Blaming period. Very odd. So this week my weight has fluctuated from 15st11 to 15st4.5,

I would like a nice straightforward week this week, and I want my 1 stone off by this time next week - so 2lb to go!

Well done on all the losses everyone :)
I lost 1.5 this week. Been up and down past few weeks. Would love to get 10 lbs off in next 6 weeks before I go on hols. That would get me to a weight I haven't seen in ten years! Really enjoying fitting into smaller size - just wish I could give myself a kick to get next bit off.

Anyone else find they hit a wall and sts for a few weeks. It's happened to be at each half stone (have 2 stone off now)

iklboo · 16/05/2013 21:45

I've only had one hi-fi bar today (you can have two as your HEB). D'you think I could have one slice of 400g hovis instead of another bar as my HEB (you can have two of them a day)?

May I join in please? :) I started SW last week and have lost 8lb in my first week! Not been hungry at all and I'm so pleased with myself. I've got 4 stones to lose in total so 1/8th of the work done already!

Off shopping this afternoon; got a friend coming for tea so I've been scouring the SW website for recipes and decided on homemade meatballs with a tomato based sauce and pasta, and have made a huge fruit salad to serve with natural yoghurt and runny honey for pud :) I'm loving that lean meat is free as I can merrily devour a lot of roast chicken lol tried WW before and really struggled with all the pointing malarkey as I like to cook big casseroles etc and it's so hard to add up all the stuff thats in it!

Gaaah

I thought I had done really well but only lost 1lb. I was sort of hoping to have a bigger loss for the first week Blush

Still if someone had told me I was this weight three weeks ago I would have been delighted as I thought i weighed more than I did

I need to read this thread more instead of posting and running don't I?

off to read back for inspiration

Hi itsnotahoover - amazing first week loss - well done!

Nishky our consultant said to us one if we only lost 1lb a week that adds up to a lot over a year so don't feel disheartened!

Off out for an indian meal with some friends tonight so researching my best options online to be prepared!

iklboo · 17/05/2013 19:44

Shopping tonight I picked up a 5kg bag of potatoes. It was heavy. Then I realised that I've lost the equivalent to THREE of those bags! I have no idea how I used to drag my carcass around with all that extra weight.

Lost a 1 lb this week so that is 2 stone 4lb :). I am now 12st 2lb I so want to get in the 11st mark. 7 weeks until the holiday so even if its a 1lb a week now I guess its still another half a stone.

Keep up the hard work everyone and blondes enjoy your last few days xx
