Wow Huff well done that is fantastic Grin...how was the crunchie? Grin

Hopeforever · 25/04/2013 10:42

Morning Motivated Ladies, reading your stories has really helped.

Just signed up for SW online as I have over 2 stone to lose now that I'm 12.9 Would love to go back to 10stone but think I'd find it hard to maintain.

I have ME/CFS so my day is spent resting between 20 - 30 minutes of activity, anyone else used SW when they can't do much excersie?

Anyone know if you can still go to the occasional class if you joined online? I can't always get out, but would like the real life support if its OK.

Thanks

Huffpot · 25/04/2013 11:13

Thanks all Grin I was pretty chuffed with myself

The only thing I can think of is that I was more mindful with my syns after doing the 777 last week and probably consciously ate more speed foods

Lets hope the losses continue so I can hit my stone sooner rather than later!

The crunchie was yummy but I'm finding I'm imagining things better than they actually are if that makes sense?

onceipopicantstop · 25/04/2013 11:50

Hi Hopeforever I just restarted SW yesterday. Need to lose 4 stone Blush and hoping this thread will give me some motivation and moral support! I don't think you can mix and match online and classes but haven't done either for a while so may be wrong!!

From what I recall of SW exercose isn't essential at all so you will be fine.

Good luck! Smile

Helenagrace · 25/04/2013 12:40

Weigh in this morning - lost 3.5lbs.

I'm finding lunches hard to manage. It's ok when I'm at home because I can cook a baked potato or something with rice or pasta. It's tricky when I'm out of the house for lunch though.

iklboo · 25/04/2013 17:52

Well done HelenaGrace! Our counsellor told us there's a lunches book coming out soon.

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/04/2013 19:28

well done helen

im hoping for a loss tomorrow as been good this week and was soooooooo bad last week for personal/emotional reasons :(

Huffpot · 25/04/2013 21:13

That sounds good iklboo

Good luck blonde! Will be sending lots of positive vibes Smile

Huffpot · 25/04/2013 21:14

And well done Helen!

iklboo · 25/04/2013 21:46

I'm out with the girls tomorrow night & have no intention of eating healthily! No drinky poos though. Well, not many Smile

Curlywurlysareyum · 25/04/2013 23:13

Wow!! Haven't been on for 2 days as so busy with work and can't believe the losses!! Everyone doing so well!

Helenagrace I too find lunches out very hard if I'm shopping. I have a jacket pot with beans some times. This is prob mad but last week I brought a tub of pasta, tuna and veg and had it!! I just want to get this weight off and once it's off I will have the odd indulgence when I'm out. Next weekend I'm going out for dinner and I will enjoy it. But it's the hardest part I find about sw - fitting it into going out as u can't control the oil used etc. and for lunch bread would have been my first choice (baguettes etc)

Hopeforever - I know a few people who have as much as 3 stone off with sw and haven't done any exercise - so go for it!

Curlywurlysareyum · 25/04/2013 23:15

Huffpot - you have me dreaming about crunchies now!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/04/2013 08:35

2 lbs off- making loss of 9lbs since jan - pathetic :( considering ive gained and lost prob the same 4 lbs on and off

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Holliewantstobehot · 26/04/2013 09:32

Huffpot - well done am now thinking of trying this 7 7 7 thing for myself as am usually a slow loser and would like to speed up a bit as on holiday first week of June. You have definitely inspired me to give it a go.

Blondes - really feel for you as I have been exactly like that for the last year or so - gaining and losing the same weight but at least you are 9 lbs lighter and I also like to think how much more I would weigh now if I hadn't done anything at all, (probably a stone at least) and this does help me to feel better. Hope this helps a little bit.

NanaNina · 26/04/2013 12:00

PLEASE can someone tell me what the 777 thing is. Are you talking about Cadbury's crunchies - if so, can I join the Crunchie Club - I had one last night. They used to be 9 or 10 syns I think. They seem longer now than they used to be so maybe more syns.

I am going to a class later in week so will hopefully get up to date. Great hearing of all the weight losses. Off to buy the dreaded scanbran or "scankybran" as my daughter calls it!

Huffpot · 26/04/2013 12:22

Lol crunchie sales will go up!
I always assumed they'd be really high in syns but a couple of girls who are nearly at target at my group eat one every WI night and they told me.

Blonde I did that for ages but its still 9lbs off not on and you've had a rough time lately so don't be too hard on yourself - just read the books again and refocus

Nina the 777 is 7 days, 7 syns and 7 speed foods per day. The speed foods have an S next to them in the book - things like oranges, apple, chicken, most fish etc.
Someone mentioned their consultant also said 7 glasses of water a day which ours didn't but I think its a good idea Smile

Holliewantstobehot · 26/04/2013 13:09

Now craving a crunchie! weigh in on tuesday so might have one then. Would much rather have that than a curly wurly. Wish they sold single 2 finger kitkats as don't trust myself with a multipack. Bought a normal kitkat other day and ate 2 fingers and put the rest in the fridge for another day, lasted an hour before finishing it off!

needstodiet · 26/04/2013 13:34

Another weigh-in, another happy bunny.
That's over 2 stone in 12wks.

Still a long way to go but I'm still enjoying it.

Well done for all the losses on here and good luck to those starting on the SW journey.

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 26/04/2013 13:37

Well done on all the great losses. I had a totally blow out last night, wine, Indian (korma) and chocolate Hmm

Feel so depressed today, just want to eat eat eat

needstodiet · 26/04/2013 13:38

Hollie, I have a SW buddy I share the kit Kat with Smile. I also buy the multi packs but work such long hours, out f sight out of mind, I leave them at home. Wink

Huffpot · 26/04/2013 13:49

Hollie someone at my group hides things in the boot of her car as she has to think about going outside to get it then and finds that stops her if that's any good?

Huffpot · 26/04/2013 13:50

Well done needstodiet! I'd love to lose that in that time frame Smile

Holliewantstobehot · 26/04/2013 15:34

well done needstodiet - great loss!
Huffpot - that is a great idea I will try that, especially as I'm a single mum so getting out to the car would be difficult in those moments I want choc - ie when the kids are playing up! Funnily enough once they are in bed I don't tend to want whatever I was desperate for in the witching hour between dinner and bedtime [big grin]
