@emberblu my DS is the male version of AMagdalena's DD haha 🙈 only naps on me, Co sleeps, hated pram and car seat until a month ago. Screams a lot. He's five months now but definitely improving. Hang in there!

Hi hope everyone is ok today. How did everyone find Leap 1? My DS is 7 weeks old but was premature so we just entering Leap 1 and it's beginning to stress me out massively! Any words of advice? X

AMagdalena · 18/01/2018 20:58

@Jellybean I do wonder if they will continue to be copies of each other 😂

@Nicellen DD started to settle slightly at 9 weeks, but she was no different during the leap than beforehand. Total screamer 🙈

And we are co-sleeping.
I think DD is sensing my discomfort. It took her absolute ages to wind down.

Praying my neck won't be any worse tomorrow 🙈

Uh oh I'm in trouble I've misplaced the garage keys and it's recycling night. No idea where I put them.

DS is also being unhappy and sick lots for some reason. Not looking like a good night. DH has said to me a couple times I don't know how you cope with this all day and all night. Made me smile

WhoAteAllthePercyPigs · 18/01/2018 21:29

Evening all! Who's looking forward to some night time shenanigans??

Welcome @emberblu to our knackered crew! Know what you mean about feeling bad after seeing other mums and their unicorn sleeping babies. I was part of a group of first time mums and my DD was the only one who wouldn't sleep. But - get this - whilst DD now sleeps through at 2.6, her previously perfect sleeping pals are now up all hours and driving their parents mad! Not that I'd wish thst on anyone...but it does demonstrate that everything's a phase with kids.

Sympathy on the neck pain @amagdalena. My back is on and off painful and it's def down to these crazy nights and awkward feeding positions. ConsiderInn referring myself to the physio although I went after I had DD but had to cut it short cos she screamed the place down at every appointment

Feeling a little better, just very very tired. Am praying DS will take pity on me tonight as I have a brunch date with a friend that is like to be vaguely on form for!

See you all soon I'm sure....but hopefully not before midnight!

Hoping for a good night for everyone!

DH is out on the lash tonight and will probably be snoring the house down. I’ve told him if I’m asleep and so is baby and he wakes me/us by snoring or just general drunk stupid behaviour I will smother him with my pregnancy pillow. He understands; hopefully he will go sleep on the couch downstairs and not bother me at all (I wish...)
Baby sleeping yay
Fingers crossed...
