'Sleep is for the Weak' for anyone with August/Sep 06 DC's

GM, Cruise and anyone else with LO's born around August/September 06' - this is a support thread for when you have no clue as to why your LO is doing the exact opposite to what they were doing last week and when you are thinking WTF????
Post on here and we shall all compare notes and comfort each other!!

tibsy - did not do anything any differently that I can fathom! frustrating thing is that I know he is capable of doing it so why won't he? grrrrr! there is a lovely piece on this at www.kellymom.com/parenting/sleep/comfortnursing.html. it will make you feel good about night wakings (if that is possible!). you are so right in that the key is 'self settling'. ds does go down asleep but often opens his eyes, takes a look around and goes back off again.
kiera - sorry you feel so tired. it is the pits isn't it . Yes, ds is defo using boob as a dummy. it is his favourite thing in the whole wide world! really trying towean from bf but it is sooooo hard when he is so resistant.
