Hi MNHQ can you please address the issue of a certain poster called AidaP who is not participating in debate he is just trolling.

to be clear this person is a trans woman who has been convicted of violence and is posting promotion of acts of violence against women elsewhere.

in particular there is one elsewhere about using a roughly hewn rolling pin to rape women.

you realy need to look in to him it is just so not on that he is being allowed to bother us here.

Perhaps you haven't seen what he thinks of GC women. Here's an example of the sort of thing this violent man posts - they're appalling, aren't they?

Edited

@SirChenjins - thank you for posting this. What an utterly appalling post from him. I appreciate you sharing this information.

It is aggressive and bloody awful language, but I have to agree with a PP - I think saying this is a rape threat is a little bit of a stretch now that I have seen the post in question.

Yes. I have a colleague who says "fuck that/them/her/him with a spiky butt plug".

Ereshkigalangcleg · 09/04/2026 17:03

It’s “aggressive and bloody awful” language involving creative sexual violence imagery, from a man towards a specific woman and other women. I don’t think “rape threat” is inaccurate and I’m concerned about efforts to downplay it. I don’t want this man or any similar man anywhere near women’s spaces and people who think this kind of rhetoric is harmless and handwave it away are absolutely part of the problem. If it helps, I don’t want Glinner in women’s spaces either, or any other man.

SirChenjins · 09/04/2026 17:04

I sincerely hope it's not an actual rape threat - but I do think it's the language of a man who carries a lot violent imagery in his head (the result of watching god knows what online), who mixes in circles where this sort of rape-y language is commonplace, and who carries so much hatred and vitriol for women who simply want privacy, safety and dignity in spaces where men are not allowed that he uses angry and aggressive language to try and make them feel threatened and uneasy.

The manosphere is full of them.

If I say fuck capitalists and tories with a splintered rolling pin, it isnt a rape threat. It's saying they should fuck off essentially. Did you ever see the viral reel thing of "fuck dem kids?". It was parents eseentially saying fuck their kids, I/we am/are having some adult time..it wasnt about having sex with anyone's children.

The fact you all have exaggerated this so much and now brought it to my attention that you are reaching so far has made me lose all respect for you.

Edited

Yes. It IS a rape threat because it explicitly makes it a sexual assault with a specific weapon and a specific group of people and a named person.

If it stated 'Fuck bigots' with no weapon mentioned, that is a generic expletive. It is, I believe, short for 'fuck off bigots'. It lacks specificity.

Saying 'fuck JK Rowling with a splintery rolling pin' is specifically suggesting that she should be raped with a splintery rolling pin.

I take it he's been reported to HR.

Do you think ladies wont use such language?!

You need to come to the East End.

Just because you have a colleague who behaves like this (🤮) doesn't change the meaning

SirChenjins · 09/04/2026 17:10

Hope you reported 'her' to HR.

Or does HR in the generic East East not care about that sort of aggressive sexualised language in the workplace?

Batties · 09/04/2026 17:11

@BeckyAMumsnet

AidaP link to a post from another website in which he said
fuck bigots and especially nazirowling with a splintery rolling pin”. How is that okay? Yes, he’s not written than on MN, but he has still said that to us that we should be raped in a very stealthy way.

Yeah it's a colloqualism. A way to emphasise that you really think that thing should fuck off.

HR would probably agree with whatever she thinks should fuck off.

But anyone on Mumsnet can choose whatever user name they want as long as it's not already taken?

He has admitted that he posted it. He even linked to it proudly and in another post encouraged us to report him to the police.

I don't imagine for a second they would agree.

So that's a no you didn't report it then.

Hi Becky

Thanks for this. However, if a poster has been abusive and their very presence on the board is continuing that abuse, is that not a safeguarding issue where posters are being subjected to abuse because the poster continues ?

Eh? Safeguarding is about adult’s responsibility towards children in their care. It has absolutely nothing to do with the obligations of an internet forum towards adult users who are anonymous and not in physical proximity with each other.

Absolutely vile posters should be banned. Though I can see the challenges in banning someone because of something they said on another site. Also the challenge they could just re register the next day with a new account.

Ignore and don’t give trolls the oxygen they crave.

He has posted links to threads he is contributing to as well on blue sky.

He is very up front that it is him.

I think HQ should just ban him then and delete this thread, so as not to give him any more of the attention he craves.

They could also say "fuck that stupid post with a spiky butt plug".
