FWR being trolled by a user called AidaP

Hedgehogforshort · 08/04/2026 20:35

Hi MNHQ can you please address the issue of a certain poster called AidaP who is not participating in debate he is just trolling.

to be clear this person is a trans woman who has been convicted of violence and is posting promotion of acts of violence against women elsewhere.

in particular there is one elsewhere about using a roughly hewn rolling pin to rape women.

you realy need to look in to him it is just so not on that he is being allowed to bother us here.

No its for privacy. Not safeguarding. Women arent inherently vulnerable adults. Men have similar same sex provision.

I get that you see yourself as extremely vulnerable and in need of safeguarding by authoritative figures. I do not see women like that. I think that might be an individual thing.

Men RAPE women. They physically overpower us. Faster than us. Rape. Domestic Violence.

FFS.

If you still say women are not inherently vulnerable because of our sex, you're being goady and disingenuous. Even a kid understands women are inherently vulnerable. You're trying to argue hens are not inherently vulnerable to foxes. You are simply not real.

Just so you all know, if I come back to more than 10 notifications (bear in mind I only get one when quoted), i press mark as read and ignore them all. I just came back to 20

You realise you can turn off notifications in your account settings, right?

You still need to go to the physical web site to read messages.

That said, if you get upset by people merely replying to you, maybe a message board is not right for you.

ThatBlackCat · 13/04/2026 10:42

GlovedhandsCecilia · 12/04/2026 12:46

I'm Black and I see parallels because I have seen the world through my perspective.

I am also black and you don't speak for me. Most black women I know, know how seriously vulnerable we as women are. You don't speak for any black woman. Nor any woman at all.

PS. Just TURN OFF your notifications! No one uses notifications, they are not necessary. Just visit the thread on your 'watch list' on the website like every one else of us does. I don't even look at my email account I used to sign up to Mumsnet. I don't even log into it unless I need to email Mumsnet specifically about something.

Really? So how come there has been a black president of the USA but never a woman president? Therefore that would suggest woman have less power than black people no?

Tyra Banks Mic Drop GIF by Allure

Yep, a black MALE President.

Not one single woman President. White or black. GlovedhandsCecilia can't argue against that point. Because her manipulatively using the race card falls flat here.

ThatBlackCat · 13/04/2026 10:48

GlovedhandsCecilia · 13/04/2026 07:08

We've had 3 female PMs and no black one.

Tyra Banks Mic Drop GIF by Allure

There has been one BLACK MAN PM, but not one single black WOMAN PM. So all men, including black men, have privilege and black women do not.

Again....

Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/04/2026 10:56

Helleofabore · 13/04/2026 07:06

Sure. That was you responding to the crowdfunding aspect.

The point Eresh was making is why was he introduced in the first place and she quoted the post to clarify.

And she is right, he was introduced as a distraction tactic based on ‘whataboutery’ and trying to portray a man who posts on here occasionally and doesn’t post abusively on threads on MN as being some kind of comparator.

Yes, thank you.

22 notifications. Multiple from same usernames. Spoil it for yourselves.

SirChenjins · 13/04/2026 12:13

Then be proactive, simply turn them off, and focus on the posts on here. Otherwise the notifications will continue to do what notifications are designed to do, and notify you.

Don't be daft. This is an interactive messaging forum. If you don't want people to respond to you, don't post on it. It's not a soap box.

Everybody else turns notifications off. Do that, and then the issue disappears. Unless you like the notifications, because it gives you a reason to ignore people?

Guess what? You don't need a reason.

Just read the thread like a normal poster.

Talk about Main Character Syndrome!

When I reply to your posts, I'm not just talking to you, I'm also rebutting your arguments for other readers to see how wrong you are.

Exactly. Loads of posters get dozens and dozens of notifications. Hence turning them off.

selffellatingouroborosofhate · 13/04/2026 12:25

A quick reminder that the uptick in bad-faith posters is to distract us from talking about

the Finnish trial

and also

the violent language used by TRA counter-demonstrators at the FWS one year anniversary demo.

Lol. The daft patronisation is almost comical 😁

you’re giving ‘if you can’t ask nicely you can’t have it’ vibes.

When you reply like that, all it does is highlight how little substance there is behind your argument, though, to be fair, I’m not convinced you’ve even attempted to make one.

Yeah when one person has quoted me 10x, it is embarrassing.

GlovedhandsCecilia · 13/04/2026 12:43

Yeah when one person has quoted me 10x, it is embarrassing.

Are they quoting the same post 10 times? or interacting with ten different posts and using the provided for quote function to maintain accuracy and coherency of the discussion?

There is a obvious difference.

Even then, multiple quoting of one single post is not abusive or harassment if the poster is discussing the post from multiple angles.

It is embarrassing for whom? Them? no, it isn't. You? maybe so. If you post on a publicly accessible website, you cannot control the interaction.

But if we didn't respond we'd be being rude and exclusive and something.

I'm finding it increasingly hard to be polite on these threads atm.

So you're not engaging with the discussion. That being the case, why are you here?
