Why has MN changed colour?

It's awful! About 10 mins ago I refreshed a page and the blue banners changed to a much brighter shade, and the OP is highlighted in grey instead of green, and I hate it. It's too bright. What's happening??

Galaxy A55, latest version of Chrome.

second edit - changed it in the settings, but it’s very very pale. I liked my proper green.

The purple is burning my eyes.

Apparently it only changed for cool people.

I had Op's posts as a lovely colour of my choosing & it has changed!

Looks like "MN blue" now!

Same. I have turned the brightness right down but it’s still so bright!

I noticed this too, and it doesn't work for dark mode. The OP posts are the same colour as all other posts apart from an original poster button. The contrasting colour is much more accessible for those with vision impairments.

I've got a privacy screen on so people can't see the confidential work browsing on MN that I'm doing so I'm loving the new brightness!

Don't see the point of flagging the Origonal poster' either as you know that from the colour settings.
I'm not a believer in change. I guess I'll cope if I have to!
