To be bored of the trans hate?

1000 replies

DaisyUpsy · 10/07/2023 09:54

Ok, there are extremists (like the punch people in the face person), extremists can be found in many areas of life but is anyone else fed up of the trans stuff constantly being dragged up?

I've seen some ridiculous statements on here recently. Everything gets something added related to trans when it's totally irrelevant. It's getting boring. Trans extremists are not the norm so can we stop pretending they are?

Tbh, the more i see from transphobic women on here, the more i wish i could distance myself from that image of what being a woman is, it bothers me intensely that i have to share a gender with that level of hate and vitriol.. makes me want to dump 'she/her' and opt for they/them just to let my trans friends know i'm NOT one of those hateful people... and i'm not the only one who feels that way.

Or you could just wear a badge, it would be less melodramatic.

zerofuchsgivenTBH · 10/07/2023 11:13

Or you could just wear a badge, it would be less melodramatic.

And where would be the fun in that?

Marchintospring · 10/07/2023 11:13

Yep 100% . In real life trans rights are barely affecting anyone apart from trans . People just live drama and use it to feed their bigotry

Thats not true. I expect most people have had an encounter with trans rights now. From pronouns at work, public sector, anyone that shopped at Tesco during Pride week, the news. The affect depends on how much you’re out and about in the wider community but certainly you aren’t allowed to say “men can’t be women” anymore. I would say that absolutely affects everyone.

When Rocky Horror, Lily Savage, Eddie Izzard or Grayson Perry were first on TV you could still say they were men. Lots of positive programmes about what they got out of gender non conformity. No hate from the women. So what’s changed….?
Clue - they started to confuse gender with sex.

How do you feel about the threats and violence from males against women?

You asked this question several times now.

What do you actually mean?

I'm not causing an argument, I honestly don't know.

Mangogogogo · 10/07/2023 11:14

Tbh op theres a lot of hate and anxiety in general on here. And it does not reflect real life at all!

they hate trans, gay people, men, anyone brown, anyone from a different culture, anyone fat or who dares to eat more than a pickle for lunch. It’s just full of hate, I’m here for the sound people but tbh it’s getting difficult to blank it out now

Theeyeballsinthesky · 10/07/2023 11:14

What is the middle ground? I’m all ears

I'm not a monster, I just don't believe in your ideology, @PhantomUnicorn and I believe women have equal rights to have our own needs and feelings considered.

GrinAndVomit · 10/07/2023 11:14

NewNameNigel · 10/07/2023 11:12

This actually demonstrates the black and white thinking and lack of nuance.
I have an issue with aspects of both trans ideology and gender critical ideology. It isn't either or. There is a middle ground

Genuinely, what is this middle ground?
Can you give examples using:

  1. sport
  2. prisons
  3. intimate care
  4. women’s shelter and rape crisis centres
  5. women’s scholarships and prizes
JudgeAnderson · 10/07/2023 11:15

@DaisyUpsy be angry at the people that brainwashed your daughter into potentially damaging her health, not those who try to protect her.

I never understand these posts. If that is what you see go elsewhere. No one is forced to be on a website. Bonkers.

whereaw · 10/07/2023 11:15

@Theeyeballsinthesky maybe the middle ground could be let adults do what they want but don't involve children and create third spaces for those who want them.... but, wait...

Fizbosshoes · 10/07/2023 11:15

I think only women have periods
Only women can be pregnant/give birth/breast feed
There should be safe single sex spaces for (biological) women
Men's and womens sports should be separated by biological sex
I can't agree that you can be a woman some of the time but not all the time.

But I don't consider that I hate trans people (according to DD all of the above means I do)

NancyDrawed · 10/07/2023 11:15

Seeitsayitsalted · 10/07/2023 10:52

But it’s not any other man is it

Its ridiculous to assume or even imply a trans woman chest feeding is a sex offender

its disgusting actually

Are you saying human milk and skin to skin isn’t best for a baby?

He is a man pretending to be a woman - whatever his motivation. The fact that he has taken hormones to develop some breast tissue does not negate that.

I did not imply he is a sex offender - I have not read anything that he allegedly wrote about a nipple fetish. Nor did I imply that all TW are sex offenders. I do question the motivation of a man using a baby to validate his opposite sex identity. I do not think it is in the baby's best interests.

Breastmilk from the baby's mother is best for a baby in my opinion. Followed by breastmilk from another mother if available and suitable. Followed by formula. I'm a believer in 'fed is best'. But I am unaware of any literature supporting the ability of a man to successfully breastfeed a baby in a way similar to the baby's mother. And the benefit of skin to skin is not dependent on simultaneous suckling as far as I am aware.

JudgeAnderson · 10/07/2023 11:16

Bye.
And it's a sex you share with other women, btw.

It's not a difficult question.

I meant what context. Don't be so fucking horrible.

IAmSalmaFuckingHayek · 10/07/2023 11:16

Having never been trans or dysphoric about my sex/gender, i can't understand what they're thinking

Having been dysphoric as an autistic teen, but luckily I’m more enlightened times that didn’t have such strict gender stereotypes, I can understand.

No one would advocate for a change in health care for anorexics or schizophrenics to fully validate what they are saying, so why on Earth are doing this with dysphoric teenagers?

Any health care should be rooted in science, not science fiction.

Every single story about a trans child starts with gender stereotypes that the child is uncomfortable with. The trans child I know personally was not allowed to have her hair cut short or wear jeans and t shirts until she announced she was a boy. Her school completely let her down by ignoring safeguarding red flags, because “he” (a 12 yr old child) “ is exploring his sexuality” (this was advice from camhs when school were unsure what to do, because normal safeguards fly out of the window when it comes to anything trans!).

All children should express themselves freely. You don’t have to be a boy to have short hair or play football, but this is where we are now. Extremism in gender stereotypes.

People seem more upset about women speaking out than men punching or threatening violence

Women don’t threaten they just say no to males in sports etc and the story builds that we ‘hate’.

Men talk about decapitating women, raping, killing, punching them, or actually do do the latter

So I’m wondering why we get the label of hate in this

Why don’t people focus on the actual inciting hate and violence?

It's not human milk, it's not natural and it's pumped full of artificial hormones that could do God knows what long term. Women aren't allowed to ingest all sorts of medications whilst pregnant and breastfeeding so why is it OK for transwomen? Why does their desire trump a newborns health?

It's a fetish that results in child abuse.

Catusrusty · 10/07/2023 11:17

So I think what the OP is trying to say is:

Shut up women.

Which is new, we definitely haven't heard that one before.

But wait because we were told in no uncertain terms that third spaces are transphobic? That TW are the same as literal women & denying them access to single sex female spaces would be transphobic?

KitchenSinkLlama · 10/07/2023 11:18

You are talking utter crap. Women and girls rights are being erased from sport, the law, schooling, history, the workplace, policing - need I go on?

If this is boring you, you are either not paying attention or not bright enough to understand what is going on.

PurpleButterflyWings · 10/07/2023 11:19

GrinAndVomit · 10/07/2023 11:01

I have face creams in my bathroom cabinet which I’ve had to stop using while breastfeeding… yet a man taking insane amounts of drugs, designed to fight the natural function of every single cell in his body, is just fine 🙄

It disgusts me that people are falling for this woman hatred.

This. ^ Some of the comments on here, AND another thread running right now (about men chest feeding,) are making me feel queasy and sick and also worrying me that people do think this way. One poster on both threads is posting some really disturbing shit.

I pray they don't really think this stuff, and they're just messing about. It's sickens me to the pit of my stomach to think ANYONE thinks it's OK for a man to stick someone's BABY on his chest and put his nipple in its mouth. Shock

Ereshkigalangcleg · 10/07/2023 11:19

OP is invested, so not as "bored" as she affected to be in the first post.
