Ads covering a third of the page

Driving me mad! Mobile site on chrome, android phone.

I’ve had one for tours of Auschwitz on a Gary Lineker thread. FFS.

Site is totally unusable for me. The top ad which takes up a third of the screen can't be scrolled past or closed. I've tried deleting cookies and cache and it made no difference at all.

I came here to see if anyone else had this problem or if it was my phone.
It's making MN practically unusable! The adverts at the top are covering a third of the page and there is another giant one in the middle, then the MN question, then another ad at the bottom!
I'm on a Samsung mobile using Chrome.

That's the Mumsnet version of turning it off and turning it on again isn't it?

I imagine we're all getting different ads based on an algorithm. I've been browsing car websites the last few days and all my ads are for cars.

Takes over the page and is extremely annoying.

How does the URL help? It i an issue with MN and MN only. I can read five posts then the advert appears.

Lots of users have already shared the URLs genuinely just how many do you need to try to implement some sort of fix?

It's happening on almost every bloody thread so I'm not sure how every user sending you thousands of URLs of each thread is going to be much use to you.

I got this for the first time today, I thought people might be complaining a bit too much, but no, it’s genuinely so irritating you can’t read the thread. It’s like trying to look under a tent flap to read a newspaper.

It's been a couple of days now hasn't it? I get lulled into a false sense of security, browse 2 threads trouble-free and then '"Wham!" I'm faced with this.

I've got a Naproxen painkiller and Merc and stalking me.

Genuinely going to stop using this site if this is what I have to put up with. It's infuriating!!

It's bad enough that when you try to post the cursor messes about and the spaces between paragraphs are huge making it look like im thick!!
