Just had exactly the same. Just to confirm I don't want to buy a sodding Mercedes based on an advert I can't close.

I don't want a Mercedes - I think they are shit cars and only fit to be taxis in third world countries. 🤣.

I cleared cookies and cache and it is still happening. The only option is to close the thread.

Me too. Android on chrome. I've cleared the cache and still having thee same problem.

If the ads are having a negative effect on people, then it may defeat the purpose of the ad and put people completely off the brand(s) being advertised.

I don't know anything about advertising apart from dodging it haha!

Its like me with paper spam the postman keeps delivering. The first thing I do with it is file it in the waste paper recycling bin......and then forget about to it!

I have also cleared cache and am having continued difficulties. The site is unusable today.
