Samsung Chrome. The merc-benz ad. I can't even see the notifications. With the ad at the top and the keyboard,at the bottom, it's difficult to see anything!

It's not there all the time though.

I thought it was just me. I gave up trying to reply to something earlier as the advert covered half the page and the keyboard the other half so seeing what I was actually typing was impossible.

I've cleared the cache deleted all my history over the last 7 days (which is annoying) and it is still there. It is so bad I'm going to have to actually do something with my Friday evening...

Mine literally covered my whole screen until i scrolled and then the whole screen except for about two lines of the thread. (See screengrabs)

As if all the 'promoted by mumsnet' ads masquerading as threads isn't bad enough now we get this shit. It's making the site unusable. I swear I'm just going to fuck off to reddit and not come back.

Have deleted cookies/cache. Still doing it, even worse when I get the huge Daz ads that take up over a page when I scroll I can't move those unless I touch the screen in EXACTLY the right place.

I've been getting ad's covering threads the last few days too @LilyMumsnet This has been an issue for a very very long time and only an issue with Mumsnet, never had it with any other site. I can't understand how it has not been resolved yet? Maybe you need a new tech team?

Last time I cleared cookies and cache I lost all progress in a game I was playing, so I don't want to do that.

Also I don't drive so it's pointless marketing Mercs to me. You know how tiktok algorithm learns what you like? I've been here a decade, just saying. 🙄

Cleared cache and cookies etc. workers temporarily and back within twenty minutes. Safari, iPhone.

It’s happening to me too with a Holzkern ad. The ad isn’t even displaying properly. iPhone with Safari. First time I’ve noticed it this evening! It’s making threads very difficult to read.
