Scam diversions/pop-ups

When on MN, I keep getting diverted to a website telling me that my McAfee sub has expired, & click on the link to renew.

I do use McAfee, but it has not expired.

I ONLY get this on MN , despite having c.20 other windows open.
Anyone else get this scam via MN ?

Might be a diverted website and I just use the back arrrow to continue on mn.

It only happens on this site.

I'm on my laptop using Chrome.

I couldn't go back to the MN page via the back arrow - and the MN page it diverted me from was not in my history.
What I have done is delete all my history from before when the (repeated) problem started - which was 3 or so days ago.

So far seems to have solved the issue.

I keep getting moved over to other sites. I am on a laptop using Chrome and Windows 11.

Seconds ago got the Mcafee one again. Immediately followed by a Microsoft Edge security one. This is ridiculous.
