Weird behaviour with "back" button in browser - anyone else?

Over the last few days I've noticed if I'm browsing Active, I'm On or a talk topic and click onto a thread from there, when I press back to return to the list of threads afterwards, it often seems to skip that page and go straight to whatever thread I was reading before that, which is very odd. It doesn't happen every time, but enough for me to notice. I have thought maybe I've clicked back twice by mistake and gone forward again, but it's like the interim page is just deleted from my history as though I never visited it at all.

Is anyone else getting this? It's really strange and disorientating.

I'm on Chrome on Windows 10 on a desktop.

Yes, me too, safari on iPhone. Thought I’d accidentally been clicking twice. Very annoying!

also, I did a FORWARD from the wrong back page and it goes back to the thread so it is completely losing the Active Threads page somewhere

This has been happening on my iPad for the last 3 or 4 days too. It's really annoying.

Ahha, so it's not me then! It's been doing it to me too (full version of the site on chrome)

Another one here it happens to. I nearly started a thread the other day about this, but thought it must be my laptop and I would look stupid!

I'm on my mobile, but it happened when I used the pc the other day too.

Here too. I'm on the app, it's only been the last few days though and it's not consistently happening.

Yes! Same thing happening here. Clicking back from a thread takes me back to the thread I last read rather than back to active convos.

Yup, me too. On the website (not app) on my iPad and MacBook, both running Safari.

No other websites do this, just MN. Leaping around all over the place. Sometimes I click the back button and go back to my browser home page, despite having opened multiple pages since then.

Still no fix for this? It's still happening on my phone and tablet. Chrome on Android.

me too, Chrome browser and W10 laptop.

It works for me if I wait for the pages to fully load before clicking on a thread.
