You remember you were going to impliment all kinds of things, Message which explained posts were deleted due to disablism, Emails to the posters, proactive buzzwords...

a year on what has been the result of this massive change in moderation?

Now i'm not suggesting this was a carrot, dangled to try and stop people leaving....
But we donkeys ARE getting a little tired of walking and woudl like to know what plans are there for the future to stop attacks.

The reason pram vs wheelchair posts stand for so long is because of the parents for parents ethos a pram pusher is mumsnet audience the disabilist nonsense i read on here makes me want to bang my head off the nearest wall, oh and if you point it out you are either accused of being too pc or some such pish. Ingrained disabilism isn't exclusive to mumsnet though.

You can discuss wheelchair spaces on buses til the cows come home, but if you say anyone has the right to park their buggy/shopping/arse in that space and refuse to move for someone using a wheelchair you're being a disablist ignorant twatbag.
If you back that twatbaggery up with insults then you will be deleted.

Yes that's right let's make it a game of top trumps using sick children. Because that's what people like to do on Mumsnet.

Dawndonnaagain · 09/07/2017 19:19

user, funnily enough we've had some very civilised threads in which people have done just that, 'asked questions'. It's not until people without disabilities come along and insist on their right to use spaces/parking bays specifically designated and protected, for those who need them, that these things descend into chaos. Until people accept that people actually need those loos, those bus spaces, those parking bays, and by people I mean those for whom they are designated, not an able bodied parent quite capable of using other facilities, it will continue to do so.

Zzzzz. How have I been offensive? This is exactly what I'm talking about. You are trying to shut down any opinions

Ghost. Some posters do exactly this

Thank you mcbride for illustrating the problem
When you come across that attitude again and again on mn it becomes tiresome

professorvanvonsteinenburg · 09/07/2017 19:30

Why people need to stand on these threads shouting MINE MINE MINE is beyond me

Becuase it is, by law, theirs....

It's not ok to park there, because you are not disabled.

If someone was to say to you it's not ok to park there you disgusting goady piece of shit, hope the fags GIVE you a disability pretty soon, see how YOU like it, your type makes me fucking SICK! then that would be a Personal Attack and you could report it in the hope MNHQ would agree it was.

But stating you are wrong and happy to be wrong and act ignorantly by parking in a disabled space is not a Personal Attack, as your actions demonstrate that you are.

Macbride111 · 09/07/2017 19:31

Very well zzzzz. I'll save that discussion for another thread

BishopBrennansArse · 09/07/2017 19:32

Oh look. Another new username trotting out the same old bollocks supported by a sockie 'user'.
Then we will have the third thread deletion in two days.

professorvanvonsteinenburg · 09/07/2017 19:32

Thank you mcbride for illustrating the problem when you come across that attitude again and again on mn it becomes tiresome

Which begs the questions:

Why are we repeatedly seeing it?
Why are HQ leaving it unchallenged?
Why do HQ force those this is aimed at to educate?

Do we ever get these questioins answered?

BishopBrennansArse · 09/07/2017 19:35

No we do not, prof.
It's been a real hairy toe and their socks weekend. Because it's known moderation pretty much disappears at the weekend these individuals pop up and inflict real damage on the disabled community here during that time. As others said it's really, really damaging.

See? This isn't contributing, it's trying to shut down opinions you disagree with
