"Get out! Mummy is ALLOWED to POO IN PRIVATE" seems to be my personal mantra at the moment. And whats nice about that is its memorable and good to teach all his friends at nursery. and the teacher. and to tell the doctor. And my work colleagues.

UCM look back a couple of posts

SMSmadeUCMBelieveWhiteRberries · 18/06/2007 22:25

It would be easier to see if I hadn't made teh thread messy

UCM · 18/06/2007 22:26

Oh Mrs Who, I do apologise, but I read that and it genuinely made me laugh out loud. So that's two of us who think this should be then

MrsWho · 18/06/2007 22:28

LOL @ SMS , can MN delete them for you?

SMSmadeUCMBelieveWhiteRberries · 18/06/2007 22:29

On the grounds that it makes the thread untidy?????

I am sure they have more important things to do...

MrsWho · 18/06/2007 22:30

It is their thread though

They will prob do what I do and go and start another one

morningpaper · 19/06/2007 09:48

Maybe they've all got ipods crammed to the gills with banging sounds and they're so off their tits on smack that they can't talk about politics til teatime.

Didn't she think she'd be caught out when you asked DS if Granny liked X Factor

DS "I don't know, some man called Trevor from Isleworth came instead"

harpsichordcuddler · 20/06/2007 18:44

by choosyfloosy describing some top tips for performing a striptease for your partner:

"make sure you listen to the whole song first though in case there's a sudden polka insert or the singer starts saying 'Good Evening Scunthorpe' in the middle "

What's been funny this week?

Kathyis6incheshigh · 21/08/2007 13:31

Whomovedmychocolate's strange smells in the gallery of her recording studio - here

esp the bit where she was asked how she knows what dead people smell like and she told us she did work experience in a morgue

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 21/08/2007 13:33

Well nothing as has been funny per se, but Misdee kept us all updated on Peter and the two key words that we were all delighted to hear were??

Pink as opposed to translucent colour he was on the LVAD

Uneventful who would have thought that a word such uneventful could make so many MNers so very very happy.

OliviaMumsnet · 22/08/2007 11:33

any more?

HollyGoHeavily · 22/08/2007 11:53

Please can I nominate boco for

Lol - do you remember Going For Gold! with Henry Kelly?

All those European quiz contestants called Heinrich and Lars - Henry Kelly once shrieked in his helium voice
'Didier Partouche, you're playing catch-up!'

  • and that's what dp shrieks in a very convincing accent when he wants to get on my nerves. Didier Partouche has become code for 'you're slightly grumpy, i'm going to make you want to hurt me' in the boco household.

on the thread 'What do you think of the name Dorian for a boy'.

I cried with laughter for about 10 minutes....

On the shaggable chefs thread, trying to defend her Nigel Slater/crumble making fantasy...

By Slubberdegullion on Tue 21-Aug-07 21:36:26

Now looky here this is my fantasy and if I want Nigels hands rubbing crumble then that is bloody well what they will be doing. Continously.

Ok I will put the rest of Nigel in a box....no that's mean, he is in a Punch and Judy tent with just his hands and bowl of flour and butter on show.

HAPPY NOW

well, ner ner to all because my ds has to shake hands, bow, and walk to his seat backwards so as not to show disrespect, only sits down on a Tuesday and spends the rest of the time standing in order to keep up the school tradition of never sitting down in case it offends the teacher.

oh and if he passes a prefect in the corridor he immediately prostrates on the floor. But only parents and visitors are allowed to actually walk on prostrate boys. If a prefect did this they'd get the cat o'nine tails in the head's study and remember to thank him for it. "
