SLOW! It's so fucking slow now, I can't even get long threads to load any more

It's beyond a joke now, vast swathes of MN are now totally inaccessible to me. Can we PLEASE sort this out?

The last two days mumsnet has been vitually unusable

Its just as bad today

On ipad uploaded the newest version yesterday which is a complete pain as everything changes just so i can get mumsnet to work

I love mumsnet but if this continues i will have to leave, i dont have the patience to wait for half an hour to check threads i am on

iPhone, mobile site, Safari here. Pages only half load, it does it on threads, short threads.
It appears to be a Mumsnet server problem because other websites load perfectly well.

I am currently using the app (but prefer the website) because it just won't download at all onto my iPad. It will download five posts and then freeze up with white space. Totally useless. I only ever have 25 posts on the page, I have made sure my iPad is up to date in its settings etc. This has been a problem for about a week but really bad in the last three days.

I won't leave. I will just hang around and get frustrated

However it does have a knock on effect I believe - I'm very reluctant to click on add links now because I think of mumsnet as being slow so will that affect the connection? I clicked on the links on the 'swears by' email this morning then kicked myself because I thought shit now safari will crash.

It didn't, but my first thought on seeing an advert link shouldn't be 'better not risk it' (and I speak as someone who has actually bought stuff as a result of mumsnet links)

Me too - iPhone mobile, crashes/freezes/gets stuck whether through safari or google.

Problems here too.

Yesterday and today there have been long times when MN is unusable (not even sure if this will post as it's bad again this morning)

No other sites I use affected

site keeps crashing for me too. Won't load the threads I'm watching without freezing (and these are threads that are no where near reaching 1000 posts.

I'm on iPhone and iPad on safari. I don't use the app, mobile site on phone and normal on iPad.

I'm happy for things to take slightly longer to load with my 1000 pages I'm on. However, freezing every time surely isn't the norm for it and shows there's a fault somewhere ?

I'll load the add blocker as suggested above.

I wonder if the fact that anytime anyone seems to write such things as Amazon, Superdrug etc they are converted into clickable links is adding to the problem ?

It's horrible. iPhone 6, safari, 25 posts per page. Freezes, won't scroll, won't load. Bluegh.

Mine froze 5 times in about 10 mins earlier (iPhone6, safari, mobile site - about 0800). The freezing has definitely been worse this week than I've known it before.

Haven't reduced the number of posts per page as it happens on ANY thread whether it only has 1 post or 500. Also, what's the point of giving the option of 1000 per page if you're not actually able to support it?

Something is very wrong with this site. I've also had major problems the last two days, it just basically freezes or won't load. All other sites are fine, it's specific to mumsnet. It's basically unusable a times.

iPhone 6, mobile site on safari. It is definitely a general tech issue rather than anything to do with user settings or devices.

iPhone 7, ios10, access from safari. The site is completely unusable. Every post is just hanging on load. Been like this for several days. All other websites and apps work fine so I know it's not from my end.

I get a lot of this. The only way to resolve it is to close the browser and reopen it a few times

Same for last few days whilst using safari on iPhone.

It's not specific to any particular threads and it's only intermittent but it's driving me to distraction

iPhone 6 Plus. Safari. Pages not loading or half loading or getting stuck. Not able to scroll. Been happening over last two or three days. Driving me mad.

Hmm, so this is a thing? I don't look at MN in the evenings at all now because threads just don't load on ipad safari. Not even the list of threads in Active - I get about 30-50% of the page, then blankness. Re-loads sometimes, fails again, freezes. The frustration is ridiculous. Other sites are loading fine on safari btw - facebook, news sites etc. Just not MN at all.

Works fine on laptop on chrome - something is very wrong with how it works on ipad.

What's going on?! Nice lazy morning perusing MN was the plan, instead I'm in a hormone/caffeine induced strop at the site not working on my iPad browser. Half loading, can't click through, etc etc. Other sites working fine, so not an internet issue. Keep popping back to see if it's sorted itself out. It hasn't. Help MN HQ , else I will have no option but to do some work and that really isn't going end well for anyone....
