Why is MN so slow?

I'm not moaning - honest!

But Mumsnet s very slow - all the time. There's definitely nothing wrong with my internet, I have 200MB download and all other sites are fine.

I just wonder why this is? Are you throttled?

It is ridiculously slow.
Driving me mad. Don't even think about going into threads I'm on or watching as that's even slower than a slow thing.
It is just MN. Everything else works fine.
iPad, using safari.

Very slow. The only thing that loaded fast is the porn that is somehow linked to this site (separate thread in site stuff about this).

Extremely slow for me too. Plus the massive adverts taking over the screen when you go on a thread, not all the time but when it happens the thread goes tiny. Not having problems on any other website.

MN why is google telling me this site is insecure with a logo saying this is not a secure site circle with the letter i inside?

My Chromebook and my iphone is running very slow, however all other sites I use is showing that I am HTTPS green lock secure, and MN is not.

Interesting ...I am getting a green tick from Avast virus security if I do a google search - but if I click on the firefox info next to the address bar I get this message - and the https does seem to have disappeared....
