App randomly shutting down.

It's been going on for a few weeks now, at first I thought it was because my phone (iPhone 5s) needed an update but I have since updated and it's still happening. Very annoying when I'm reading a thread and then it literally vanishes into thin air. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens enough for it to be an annoyance. The app opens up fine afterwards.

Just thought I'd let you guys know just in case there's an issue with the app.

I think it may be. Four or five times today.

Crashed within a minute of my entry this morning.

It's just all the time, makes the site unusable.

Still going on, it's driving me nuts. Screen goes black suddenly and the app closes down , over and over again, or clicking on I'm On results in endless Check network error.

Been happening here for ages too, I don't use the app but the mobile site. I'd thought it was just my phone. Using MN on my tablet was horrendously slow until I started using an adblocker.

It's happening to me too (iPad mini/iPhone 6). I'll be in the middle of reading a thread and then I'm back at my home screen with no warning.

Still happening to me along with random refresh of active convos! So annoying

I reported this over a month ago and am yet to notice any difference or receive any feedback about what your tech team are up to

A suggestion - perhaps everyone should post on this thread to report a shutdown ,as soon as we can get back on.

Sick of the app crashing several times a day too.

It just refused to open new thread, then shut the app down completely. It's let me back on quickly though.

Hey guys, thanks for reporting these crashes, we think we've managed to fix the main offenders and will be getting them out in a release very soon.

They've taken a while to fix because we haven't been able to reproduce them on any of our test devices. iOS 10 has also introduced a few more problems, so that may have contributed to some of your problems.

I'll let you know when a fix is released, and as always - your feedback will help us figure out if that's solved the problem.
