Message from MNHQ: Thanks so much for all the reports about this.

Although there has been some interesting debate and discussion, we do agree that the OP and some of what ensues is disablist, so we have decided to delete.

how can these be interesting debates??
\not long ago mn hq said that they were going to be quicker dealing with this stuff
what happened??

Mentioning Max Miller would have been enough to get you tutted out of my grandmother's house Grin She was strangely immune to dog unpleasantness Like her little fur ball mounting my shin

My dog feeds our cats (we found the kittens when they were tiny, Labrador was having a phantom pregnancy at the time, still feeds them 7 years on.) unless she's in season, then she humps them.

NeedAnotherGlass · 21/08/2016 20:48

This is clearly more important than disablism Confused

Just5minswithDacre · 21/08/2016 20:49

It's keeping it bumped until we find our second fifth wind glass

TiggyOBE · 21/08/2016 20:54

we could say disablism is bad for another 200 posts, but if you've got another angle, go for it.

It's true that disablism IS very bad Sad

AcademicOwl · 21/08/2016 20:58

We'd like an ASD assistance dog, but we're all allergic to dogs :(

Plus there's such a shortage there's not even a waiting list.

And I don't think I could get into the whole bum issues as described above...

Bad disabilism very is.

AcademicOwl · 21/08/2016 21:08

So. i dip in & out of mn. Seriously, people have "queried" ASD as a disability (where self defined)? And not been challenged by mnhq? Wtf?

Just5minswithDacre · 21/08/2016 21:11

They have indeed Academic. Regularly.

AcademicOwl · 21/08/2016 21:11

Yes just. Or even just a dog that's a bit less allergic than a huge big Labrador, like a poodle. hides while someone disagrees over allergen values of dogs

AcademicOwl · 21/08/2016 21:15

Well. "Querying" is interesting, isn't it? I actually get why members of joe public might "query", I suppose. It's a tough gig, the whole 'hidden disability' thing.

But not being robustly called on it when it's clearly goady? That's a big fail by MNHQ.

Very sad.
