Here we are all arguing that the official MN bar for disablism needs moving a bit but you've been arguing throughout that it's fine where it is.

And I've spent years on here and elsewhere challenging othering and prejudice. I'm used to people getting defensive, telling me to be quiet, accusing me of trying to silence them, getting upset when called out on stuff and resorting to comments like yours.

I don't think MN is becoming 'worthy', since you appear to mean that in a derogatory term, SilverChair. What you appear to be referring to is the fact that people are more sensitive to what offends others, especially when referring to disabilities. Every word you have said on here shows that you are lacking totally in empathy for others and are hard of understanding and putting yourself in another's position. Being thoughtful of others' feelings is not somehow demeaning or priggish, as you imply. You've been disablist throughout this whole thread and should be ashamed of yourself.

I was until I spotted that. I'm interested because in years on being on MN I've never had a post deleted. Certainly haven't had an email from HQ about a deletion.
