Why does the desktop site page keep jumping around?! It's driving me crazy!

I have an adblocker, so I'm guessing it's because of ads. I have no header, the MN logo is still not back (Why not?) but now the fecking page keeps jumping, taking far too long to get into position, so that I think I'm clicking on one thing and then end up clicking on something entirely different as the page jumps down.

I have about 3" of white space at the top of my page (hence thinking it must be something to do with ads) - but WHY must the page JUMP??

The site is becoming hugely frustrating with all this jumping and resultant mis-clicking!

Please do something about it (and bring back the logo, goddammit!)

I keep clicking on "next" I think it is and ending up in Advanced search.....

Any update on this MNHQ? I use the mobile site, and unless I click the "x" to stop the page loading after the thread list appears, when I click on a thread, one 4 or 5 threads away is selected. This is obviously somewhat frustrating.

I'm fairly sure it is ad related because, as I say above, remembering to stop the page continuing to load once the threads appear, solves the problem. (Threads appear within about 2 secs (slow!), the page finishes loading after about 5 secs).

Using desktop, Chrome.

The jumping has gone on for weeks now and it's driving me mad.

It stops when I disable ad block but I'm not prepared to do that as the ads really slow the site down for me.

Ah at least it's not just me this is happening to. It's been driving me mad. On mobile site, Android phone using Chrome.

Laptop, Windows 8 and chrome. Doesn't seem to matter if I gave adblock activated or not.

This thread was started in February and still, the jumping continues.

Is it any nearer to being sorted?

I complained on Monday and by the afternoon. it had been sorted I thought.
Today, its back to jumping around, and letters taking time to load in the message box.

Still having problems too. When I remember hitting the "x" to stop the page loading once I can see the threads helps...

This is still happening and driving me nuts! I've just reported one of my posts in the hope that it will prompt some action on MNHQ's part

Mine jumps around all the time, I go to click on last page - the page jumps downwards and I end up in the advanced search page instead Adblocker on Firefox, laptop (Windows) here.

Same here - it is so frustrating having to take 3 goes to click on the right thread. Stopping the page loading helps sometimes, but not always.

We're so sorry that this is still a problem for many of you.

We thought this had been resolved last week, but clearly the site's still jumping around so we've asked our Tech team to see what's going wrong again.

We'll get someone to report back as soon as we can.

Please do keep on it! It has never been resolved for me, not last week, not now, and it's very frustrating.

Still does it for me but I think I have got so used to it now I actually wait for the page to 'drop' before I click on anything.

Yes I have exactly the same as you Norbert. I wondered if the Adblocker made a difference but would rather have the jumping about than adverts.

Annoying isn't it. Maybe it's MNHQ's idea on getting you to explore the other great sections of the forums, by making all the topics suddenly move just as you're about to click on the one you want?

I've found this too and I don't have an as locker. On ipad and use the website not app. It's rather irritating especially coupled with how long it takes to load. I see blank boxes then it's all loaded. It wasnt like this prior to font-gate.

It's never stopped jumping doe me. I do have ad blocker.
