Hello all - and many happy returns to MNers everywhere.

To mark the auspicious occasion, we've been taking a misty-eyed trip down memory lane. Come and have a look at the threads of Mumsnet legend, the things we'd never have learned without Mumsnet, and the pictures that still make us snigger - and do share your best Mumsnet memories here, we'd love to hear 'em.

Happy B'day, Mumsnet. I think my first post was 13 years ago. It's been one long good read. Thx

Happy Birthday! I've been here 9 years, wasted far too much time! It is interesting how things change, first the PG boards, then the feeding advice & now the SN boards which are an invaluable source of help x

I would never have guessed of the friendship and generosity I discovered here. When I really needed it most. Thank you.

Happy Birthday Mumsnet Flowers !

I've been here 10 or 11 years and I only wish I hadn't missed your early years as I joined when my DC's were just reaching teenage years. I stumbled across you by googling something and then became addicted. And how the site has grown and changed since those early days! Well done on everything. Smile

I've just laughed outloud simply reading the words "Angela Hernandez" Grin. Congratulations MN - and thanks for all the years of brilliant advice and hilarious over sharing.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/03/2015 12:27

wow, happy birthday MN Thanks

think been here 10 or so years, always under blondes - cba to name change or know how to do it coz im blonde Wink

the thing that got me, was when dh sadly died almost 4yrs ago and i got made and given a woolly hug - the amount of effort and love that total strangers put in to every one, whether a knitter or a woolly gatherer just got to me - thanks again to everyone who contributes to any hug, they really do mean a lot

have also met some lovely people at the london drunken dodgy meets we do

I don't know if she'll see this but 7 years ago Caitlin Moran (as an 'anonymous' poster) was instrumental in me agreeing to let my then 15-year-old son go to V festival when I really wasn't about to

So thanks for that, Caitlin (it's been downhill ever since Grin)

Apart from that...I've been here since just about 15 years ago, and it's been an education & a laugh all the way. I think I'll be here till I die

Happy birthday Mumsnet! You've got me through infertility, pregnancy, miscarriage, and now adoption, changed my life and my figure with low carbing and taught me how to fold fitted sheets. I hope you're with me for the next 15!

Devora · 14/03/2015 23:07

Happy birthday MN Smile. I've been here about 11 years, I reckon - started off haunting the ttc boards, then pregnancy, then adoption, now am often found on Property/DIY. MN has been an absolute lifeline to me through various crises with my two children - in particular, a horrible miscarriage and a bad 20 week scan. At a time when all the NHS had to offer me was a termination (on the basis of very scanty, unquantified information and no opportunity for properly informed decision-making) I quickly found MNetters with clinical, research and parenting experience in the area, all hugely generous with their knowledge and support. It carried me through.

I'm not much of a one for meet-ups, but I have made a few really great RL friends through MN.

Happy Birthday Mumsnet.
I've loved reading the classic tales - especially the 'Demonstrating Dads' one.Grin

RedLentil · 15/03/2015 21:49

Happy birthday and a quick heartfelt thank you.

I started posting here in about 2008, and, as well as making some great friends, I found a way of writing that became the basis of the job I've made for myself since ... It's a job I love, and it gives me lots of time with my children who are being dragged up slightly more successfully thanks to the advice I've gathered here along the way.

Thanks for everything!

cremolafoam · 15/03/2015 22:11

As an expat, I just wanted to say that I am really grateful to Mumsnet for keeping me in touch with the UK zeitgeist, allowing me to meet some great on-line friends, whilst accessing fantastic parenting advice, and generally keeping me sane!

Thank you all at Mumsnet Towers Thanks! Happy Birthday!
