It's my birthday too. I've brought cakes for the office but nobody has remembered so I'm embarrassed to get them out the fridge now because everyone will make a big fuss.

I joined about 12 years ago, when a thread would stay on Active Conversations for hours without being posted on.

I found MN when I was trying to find out why my ds seemed so different to other toddlers, and he was later diagnosed with autism. He's now nearly 15yrs old and I have no idea where the time went.

I have bat pictures uploaded to all sorts of websites purely to keep the link from giving it away. Oh happy days....

The memory that sticks with me the most is the real time updates of a MNer going to help a PBP, I was pregnant at the time, with heightened emotions, and it was gut wrenching. I wanted to stop reading but couldn't tear myself away.

I am most thankful for FWR, I've learned a lot there.

Pink Peter was a really emotional time. I remember him being the first thing I thought of when I woke up after they'd had the call the previous night.

And Coppertop -if you're anything like me - then much of the last 12 years might well have disappeared into the abyss of MN - you think you'll just read a thread and then a moment or two later, realise the day has gone, the house is exactly the same and it's time to do the school pick-up...

I lurked for months before finally deciding to ttc baby number 3 in 2012, joined in the ttc bus threads and have been here ever since.

You've seen me through m/c, birth, bereavement, spiritual support, and loads of laughs.

Makes being a stay at home mum a lot less lonely on the tougher days
