Hello all - and many happy returns to MNers everywhere.

To mark the auspicious occasion, we've been taking a misty-eyed trip down memory lane. Come and have a look at the threads of Mumsnet legend, the things we'd never have learned without Mumsnet, and the pictures that still make us snigger - and do share your best Mumsnet memories here, we'd love to hear 'em.

Happy Birthday MN!

Aitch told me I'd like MN when I was on the BLW forum, and I've been here ever since. MN has seen me through from ds's toddlerhood, becoming disabled, dh's nervous breakdown, and now the horror of my mums dementia and dads frailty. Oh, and the support of the Exercise ladies has seen me go from fat and unfit to doing triathlons Smile

Pacific, that is Pink Peter, dd4 (1st post transplant baby) and dd5 (3rd post transplant baby) who Peter helped deliver after a very fast 30min labour. We also have a ds (2nd post transplant baby) who is 4 years old.

Thanks again for the invite. Enjoyed celebrating with you.

How's the head Justine? And all the other MNHQers who were there last night? Am pretty certain there a few Mumsnetters feeling the worse for wear today!! Grin

JustineMumsnet · 12/03/2015 11:11

I've just eaten four peperamis on the spin and am now feeling much better, thank you for asking. Thank you for all your birthday wishes and indeed for making Mumsnet the place it is.

If my may quote myself from last night's speech Grin. "Fifteen years ago I set out to build a business and - thanks to you all - ended up building something much, much more valuable than that."

10000Fireflies · 12/03/2015 11:42

Peperamis for hangovers? Must add a bulk order to my shopping list!!

I'm afraid I was just too star struck and scaredy to come and say hi to you and most of the other slebs, but thanks again for the invite and for setting up Mumsnet!

Jane was lovely when I arrived on my own and found me some other MNers to talk to. Great to meet Olivia too. How lovely is she?

Here's to your 21st and 30th!!

spub · 12/03/2015 11:46

Happy birthday Grin
Been on here 12 and a half years. First came on board with first pregnancy with Dd born jan 2003. More of a lurker these days but am loving the nostalgia trip and seeing so many of the "old" names and revisiting some of the threads that made me laugh like a drain and cry buckets. It's been educational , inspirational, motivational and bloody great support. Long live Mumsnet!

JugglingFromHereToThere · 12/03/2015 11:58

That's a lovely thing to say Justine. Glad the peperamis are helping!

BathshebaDarkstone · 12/03/2015 13:20

Happy birthday! I lurked for years but only actually joined last August. I find Mumsnet invaluable for advice but mostly hilarious! Grin

InAndOfMyself · 12/03/2015 14:07

We need a video put up of Boris' speech, please, I want to hear the heckling!

BIWI · 12/03/2015 14:11

Thank you, Justine and Carrie for what you have achieved.

And thank you for last night. I think I managed to drink more than my bodyweight in Champagne. Or at least that's what my head told me this morning Grin

FlowersCake and Wine for later.

Kerberos · 12/03/2015 14:14

Thanks again Justine and Carrie. Was fab to meet so many of the MN team and fellow MNers too.

And who'd have thought Tech was such a mover :)

Lweji · 12/03/2015 14:16

Happy birthday!!!
Cake

No birthday cake emoticon, though?

nachohousekeeper · 12/03/2015 15:31

Happy Birthday lovely vipers!

I found MN about 7 years ago when I started a new job where they had employed me for far too many hours and I was bored in an office by myself a lot of the time. I think I was looking for a dressing up costume for DS who was only 3 then and MN came up as a search result.

I am about to leave that job having found enough work to make myself useful and been promoted twice. Off to pastures new but I think I'll stick with the original parenting forum!

IamtheZombie · 12/03/2015 16:44

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Zombie had the most wonderful time at the party last night. She got to drink champagne catch up with some old friends, drink champagne meet new friends, drink champagne chat with a lot of interesting people, drink champagne dance, and drink champagne.

Thank you so much, Justine. You've created a magical place and you know how to throw a party.

PacificDogwood · 12/03/2015 16:49

misdee Thanks
What a fabulous family you have!

Tech is a mover?! Shock

IamtheZombie · 12/03/2015 17:14

It was actually ShamTech who was dancing. And yes - the man can move!

ssd · 12/03/2015 17:46

absolutely brilliant zombie, you so deserve to have a wonderful night drinking copious amounts of champagne, so pleased for you! Thanks

well done MN ladies! Thanks

BastardGoDarkly · 12/03/2015 18:02

You're myyyyyyyyy baby, you're my favourite waste of time!

Happy birthday mn, now pass the gin.

sunnydayinmay · 12/03/2015 18:41

Photo in the Evening Standard with Boris. Zombie - were you tempted to photobomb it? Grin Grin

BIWI · 12/03/2015 19:17

Was that ShamTech?! I thought ShamTech was a woman for some reason!

Aeroflotgirl · 12/03/2015 19:51

Happy birthday Mumsnet Flowers Wine Cake, thanks for being there for us Smile

PeaceOfWildThings · 12/03/2015 19:56

Happy birthday, Mumsnet!

Glad that the.party went so well. Grin

Pass the gin along this way (if there's any left!)

IamtheZombie · 12/03/2015 19:57

So Zombie was told, BIWI. Tech (the original) was also there. He still lives in New York but doesn't work for MN any longer. He was lovely too.

IamtheZombie · 12/03/2015 19:59

Zombie is far too well behaved cough, cough, splutter to photobomb, sunnyday. Boris was much shorter than she had realised though.

Heckler · 12/03/2015 20:29

Boris was shorter than I thought too!

I am wanting the photo of me with him and Justine
