Hello all - and many happy returns to MNers everywhere.

To mark the auspicious occasion, we've been taking a misty-eyed trip down memory lane. Come and have a look at the threads of Mumsnet legend, the things we'd never have learned without Mumsnet, and the pictures that still make us snigger - and do share your best Mumsnet memories here, we'd love to hear 'em.

Oh, God, don't mention photos! Did you notice that one of the official photographers seemed to take a shine to Zombie?? He was constantly taking her picture.

Amy106 · 12/03/2015 20:54

Best wishes for a very happy birthday! Flowers

Heckler · 12/03/2015 21:00

I bet Zombie looked just great, even with limbs hanging off a bit.
I really wish I could've been there

I love that DM journos think we are "monsters' Grin

BIWI · 12/03/2015 21:47

Christ, the bloody Daily Fail really can't bear Mumsnet, can they? Grin

Glad that the feeling is mutual.

PeaceOfWildThings · 12/03/2015 21:53

I'm not even going to grace that link with a click.

PacificDogwood · 12/03/2015 21:57

Oh, that's made my day: the DailyFail feels threatened by a bunch of 'mummies' Grin - be afraid, DM, be very afraid!

RustyBear · 12/03/2015 21:59

I love that DM journos don't know when the last general election was...

MargoReadbetter · 12/03/2015 22:55

Happy birthday! My first born is 15. I can't imagine being without MN in those early years.

Teladi · 12/03/2015 22:59

Happy birthday MN! I had never read the thread about EMIN and her tiny foster baby. Read it through at work in my lunch hour, only to have to muffle my sobs by the end. MN is a special place with very special people.

Frostycake · 12/03/2015 23:09

Happy Birthday Mumsnet!

God, how I love you. I've spent so much time on here over the last five years, it's been fab.

chin chin!

Happy Birthday Mumsnet, thanks for seeing my DC from Primary to leaving home!

galletti2014 · 13/03/2015 00:36

Happy Birthday Mumsnet! God, have I really been on this site for most of that time? Was told about the site a few months after my dd was born in 2000, and have been here ever since. Have changed my name a couple of times, am not a massive contributor, but Mumsnet is one of my two default sites to log into. Always there for advice, fun, real issues, and controversy! Congratulations to the fab founding members and all of you have continued to make this site so successful and a place for all us to come to, whether in happy and quite frankly horrible times xx

Iflyaway · 13/03/2015 00:39

Grin
500internalerror · 13/03/2015 06:39

I missed your baby years mn, I arrived when you were nearly 4 Sad. Some things will always be remembered, but I'm sure I've forgotten a lot of the ancient stuff now!

YeGodsAndLittleFishes · 13/03/2015 06:57

Happy birthday Mumsnet!

My children are a bit older than you! I think I was aware of you in those brain foggy baby/toddler days but those were the days of dial up and self help book. It was a few years later that I really joined in, and a few broken computers and years later that I signed up properly again.

15 years ago the Internet was quite a different place. It really was just all fields (of green. We still had one of those greeny monitors! No pictures.) You are quite remarkable! Wine

JugglingFromHereToThere · 13/03/2015 07:35

What a crap and disingenuous piece that was in the DailyMail - trying to hold on to their own readers and stop anyone coming here instead? Because if they did let's face it they wouldn't be back! And then throw us a few scraps in the form of the nice quotes from the Orchard House blogger at the end. It isn't enough DF but then you know that!

eurocommuter · 13/03/2015 08:54

Happy birthday Mumsnet! For 10 years, you have been my resource centre and confidant. I have learnt a lot from the many hours I have spent here. Thank you!
