schoolsgettingonmynerves · 18/06/2014 14:02

Some of the responses to posts are hilarious and I just want to show that person that I agree!

Come on mumsnet team it's a no brainer! Smile

Add the word 'agree' if you'd like to see that! (See if there was a like button it would be soooo much easier...)

Rating posts, now that would be a proper shit storm.

hugoagogo · 18/06/2014 16:30

Down with this sort of thing

schoolsgettingonmynerves · 18/06/2014 16:31

Maybe that the people that would agree can't be bothered to actually write 'I agree' which is my point....Grin

Also the fact that this constantly comes up also speaks volumes surely?!

No. I think its a bad idea. Unless you have it both ways. Otherwise you get some 'sometimes nasty' posters spurred on by the belief that they have loads of support because some idiots have liked their post. However they have no way of telling them that for the 4 that liked their post 40 thought it was rubbish and didn't like it. So the majority still think they are wrong but a couple of likes and they think they are right... it gets ugly.

Lets have green and red arrows like in the Fail. You could see instantly whether you were BU or not by just looking then. Grin

wafflyversatile · 18/06/2014 16:45

Why not trial it for a month and see what people think?

Sparklingbrook · 18/06/2014 16:49

It would cause all sorts of trouble. But then some people quite like that don't they?

andmyunpopularopionis · 18/06/2014 16:50

I can just imagine a pro UKIP post with lots of likes. Imagine the Rage!!

Smile
ExitPursuedByABear · 18/06/2014 16:51

schoolsgettingonmynerves · 18/06/2014 17:01

What about having the option to add the 'like' buttons to your post when you are the creator of it??

You can like posts on netmums.

Please don't add it here.

FruVikingessOla · 18/06/2014 17:34

It's invariably the newbies who want 'like' buttons.

schoolsgettingonmynerves · 18/06/2014 17:45

Don't be a newbie hater
Don't get stuck in your ways
Don't hate on netmums
Don't be afraid of change
Don't don't don't

I meant you could opt for having 'like' buttons for the whole thread if you was the original creator of it? That would sort out the oldies from the newbies? Grin
