So, as you've noticed we got a new bunch of people supplying us with ads on a kind of loop if we don't sell the space. Probably time for a discussion on what we can live with and what we can't. Especially as I'm at a wedding tomorrow and then on hols for 2 weeks and won't have to be involved .
So tell us who you a) dislike b) can't bear c) veto or you're off.

(Over to you Olivia!)

Oooh well timed holiday Justine Have a good time if anyone deserves a break it's you!!

ledodgyrobespierre · 10/08/2006 23:44

I don't care as long as it helps the site. Have a nice relaxing time at the wedding and your hols you definately need it!

fuzzywuzzy · 10/08/2006 23:44

apparantly 4x4's are a no and the ultralase one is up for debate....

Am I the only one who just gets the jojomaman one all the time I haven't seen the other two I just mentioned.....

BadHair · 10/08/2006 23:44

As I've mentioned somewhere else, we're all intelligent people who can choose what we click on and what we don't. If it fills up the MN coffers in the event of any unexpected legal outlay, then fine with me.

tortoise · 10/08/2006 23:45

Im not bothered by the ads.As long as they help keep mn going.

MistressMary · 10/08/2006 23:45

Have a well deserved break!

MrsSpoon · 10/08/2006 23:45

Have a nice holiday Justine, hope you are not chased by the Paperazzi relentlessly!

jampots · 10/08/2006 23:46

everythings fine with me. Im happy to see the odd word up on an advertising banner if they're paying you to have it there, but then I dont suffer with PMT

CountessDracula · 10/08/2006 23:46

clothes are harmless
cars are not

misdee · 10/08/2006 23:46

havent seen the 4x4 one.

keep the uni one, tho if you can squeeze something out from oxford or cambridge...........

am really not bothered by the ultralase one tho it makes me giggle as some people do need to see things more clearly

Carmenere · 10/08/2006 23:46

Oh and I forgot to add, I am all for selling out. I don't have a problem as long as you don't have those ads for 'Lovely Tracy from Croydon'.
I'm well capable of ignoring most ads that I don't like.

jasper · 10/08/2006 23:46

Absolutely fine with every one I have seen so far.
No problem at all with 4x4s or Ultralase ads.
Have a great holiday

ledodgyrobespierre · 10/08/2006 23:46

Hey, i've just seen the uni one that's my old uni

Quootiepie · 10/08/2006 23:47

personally i think pretty much anything... except fruit shoots and sausage rolls. I think they'll get voted off...anything to keep MN up and running At least the publicity obviously drew some attention from advertisers....

rosaparks · 10/08/2006 23:48

I've no problems with any ads so far.

alexsmilitantmum · 10/08/2006 23:49

think the ultralase one is dodgy.it's not just eye treatment it's plastic surgery and not really supportive of women as they really are.

CountessDracula · 10/08/2006 23:50

evidently you weren't here for the aptamil advertising then

Heathcliffscathy · 10/08/2006 23:50

quootiepie have you changed your name?

WorldFamousAuthorMolotov · 10/08/2006 23:51

your site - you choose the ads
anything is fine by me

why should we have a say in what you advertise? - last time I looked this site isn't a co-operative

Quootiepie · 10/08/2006 23:52

from what?

Beetle73 · 10/08/2006 23:52

take the money - let the 4x4 makers do some good for a change.

UrsulatheSeawitch · 10/08/2006 23:53

fuzzywuzzy, I haven't seen them either. Am beginning to feel as if I'm in a parallel universe with only O2 and jojomamanbebe ads

UrsulatheSeawitch · 10/08/2006 23:53

OMG, just finally got an ultralase one. (eyes only though.)

WorldFamousAuthorMolotov · 10/08/2006 23:53

just seen ultralase haven't seen 4x4

I'm more interested in the codversation

lemonaid · 10/08/2006 23:53

I think I am being stalked by the University of Liverpool as I only seem to get that and the Ultralase eye one. Don't object to either of those but if there is indeed a "how happy are you with your body" plastic surgery one then I'm much less comfortable with that.
