How long should a thread be left up after we are informed it is going to be deleted?

Because I don't think that four minutes is enough of a warning, I really don't Sad

You know it will just mean threads about threads, because people who don't press F5 every minute see what looks like a totally valid question getting wiped out.

If we are going to invoke the Olympic Spirit, may I politely suggest one that leans towards London rather than Beijing?

And ArtexMonkey had never been warned before about personal attacks, Mary. Once about troll-hunting, same as you, and god knows I've had that one. So let's just hope she and MNHQ can have a chat and sort this out without any more upset, and keep it separate from the Stranded stuff, which doesn't involve her at all?

That's more for the benefit of anyone else who is confused really. I can see how all this shouty stuff has got muddled in people's minds.

Please do not talk about stepsons and wank in the same thread.

Thank you

BuntCadger · 31/07/2012 20:45

The one i started last night wasn't about her either Sad. Anyways, moving on... Any chance of those recipes that got lost? No Sperman cake please

QuickLookUsainBolt · 31/07/2012 20:49

Sorry about bring it up, just feel a bit sorry for her.

MyDogShitsMoney · 31/07/2012 20:50

FFS I go to put DS to bed and have a shower and more fecking pooffing!

Ok, I agree that the others should have gone I suppose but today's really shouldn't.

The OP asked for honesty and got it, yes a few posts were probably a bit near the knuckle and no-one would have complained if anything openly nasty had been deleted but on the whole it was fair and honest.

The majority of posters, me included, just told her to hold her hands up, apologise and move on, or NC and start again.

Anyway, main thing is HQ are sorting it out, they know more about this than any of us ever will and rightly so.

That's good enough for me.

Low carb and low calorie Shock

Truly a most wonderful thing. But I wouldn't dilute it's wonderfulness with fruit. That's far to healthy.

Yum.

Good to see you back - glad MNHQ backed down and apologised, that's pretty cool.

(Not that you didn't deserve it, of course, but still props to them for being big enough to say sorry when they do get it wrong.)

LeB0F · 03/08/2012 21:13

Oh, I'm so happy to see this!
