Why are some members of this site allowed to get away with persistently being vile, pushing an agenda, defending the indefensible, upsetting other members, twisting versions of events and generally being nasty, and they do not get banned?

Not about any one particular poster, but I have noticed that some stronger "personalities" on here seem to be Teflon coated.

Why is this?

Why do the owners of this site want that kind of vile poster and do not seem to care about the number of truly decent kind posters who are being upset and driven off the site?

Not sure it's fair to discuss LeQueen like this as she's not around to defend herself or put across her POV.

I think someone watching 24/7 on a site as big as this is needed.

And if not full "moderators" at least with the power to quarantine or lock a thread until it can be looked at properly.

I don't think lequeen is horrible or nasty either, think actually she is very kind (has been to me) but it is undeniable that she winds people up.

It does hold water because those that 'told' her were then attacked for doing so by her and she was backed by people that took her side for want of a better term.

Her 'telling' on that thread would have been a lot harsher if she wasn't who she was.

I think there are a number of cross arguments going on here.

THe jaw cracklingly boring one about Royalty. To be fair I think the "Royalty" get treated just as much like shit as anyone else - the snidy, sniping that goes on is pretty much guaranteed on a "Royalty" thread.

The "teflon" posters - again, I don't think those posters exist. I think that we are all subject to the same rules. If you don't like the way someone is talking to you - report it. If it's a PA it will be removed, if it's not then, sorry but you've got to suck it up and learn how to respond in a way that means you can get your point across without being deleted!

I agree with Tee that MNHQ could stand to employ some more people to keep an eye on the boards, but maybe in order to do that they'll have to start charging to use the site.

Hully it wasn't though, if you'd seen what she said you'd see that it was based on that mainly and partially the hypocisy

As I said I don't know much about her so what I said on the thread was because I was horrified at her boasting about DV and then even more horrified at her justifying it and people sticking up for her.

QuickLookBusy, I hear and agree with much of what you are saying, but in LeQ's case I think the goading is from both sides. There are people on here that know she will bite so they push until she does, then when she does it's all oh woe is me, conveniently forgetting what they said to cause the bite.

Her second post was picked to shreds, then exagerated on, and picked to shreds again.

When she came back on and explained it in better detail, instead of saying "OK, that makes things clearer, but I still think what you did was horrible" that would have got the point across in a much less provocative way. Instead she was called a liar and given another kicking.

I think if someone has admitted they suffered from PND, to call them a liar is a horrible, terrible thing to do. To not give that person the benefit of doubt is very unfair.

Amber - I wasn't on that thread but believe me, if I had been feeling well I would have told her just how appalled I was at the stuff she wrote - I don't want anyone thinking that I'm defending that thread at all.

I'm just saying that I'm confused as to the thrust of this argument. SOme are saying that LeQ was attacked BECAUSE she was royalty/teflon/whatever and some are saying that she was DEFENDED because she's Royalty/Teflon/Whatever.

The point is that some posters get away with things that would get another poster deleted in 2 seconds flat and/or banned.
