If someone is being racist and starts a goading thread then I believe that it is within my human rights to state the bloody obvious and call them a racist.
Ditto if someone is being sexist, or a homophobe, or a misogynist.
Which, by the way, you don't delete. You delete comments that are deemed to be racist but not those which are deemed to be misogynistic because you cite freedom of speech.
Well it is our freedom of speech to air our opinions and call a racist, a racist.
I remember a while ago that you refused to delete a great many of DaftPunk's comments because you upheld her right to freedom of speech.
Tell me now, truthfully, that your policy has NOT changed since DaftPunk?
I realise that some posters will bandy about terms like "racist" and "sexist" in order to goad someone into a reaction, but a little common sense is able to distinguish those comments which are plainly out of order and those which are stating a fact.
So if DaftPunk were to return to Mumsnet and I were to make the correct statement that she is a supporter of racist policies then I would presumably be deleted even though she would agree with me?
Madness.
Come back DaftPunk and help me prove a point here!
