It's rather spectacular! .

I'll load up a few pics of the inside in a mo, as I know a few people want to have a nose.

It's from this company who make tonnes of amazing bespoke playhouses .

A special thanks to prufrock, who made us aware of this company.

i loved the little bird but after you've boiled the kettle a couple of times you want to slaughter it!! so now it's kept in 'the drawer of the useless stuff'

I can't wait for DD to be a bit older to get the excuse to have some sort of playhouse, for me of course!! (I think DH is convinced he'll build it [LOL emoticon])

Flamesparrow · 20/05/2007 23:09

show em the bin CSWS!!!!

I would just like to echo MRM - CSWS is loaded (and takes teasing about her millions very well), but is far too generous for her own good and not in a "I have money, here let me show it to you" kind of way, in the same kind of way all good friend are, just on her own level iysiwm. You also wouldn't know about the wealth to meet her (does that make sense??) - I don't feel like the poor relation around her.

Ds looks like a little old grandad in the last pics on your profile!!

That boy is Soooo cute

As is dd!!!

Nice kettle BTW

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/05/2007 23:13

Flame - you are giving people who don't know me slightly the wrong impression you know. We don't even have assets totalling £1m, let alone millions! But thank you for the sentiment.

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/05/2007 23:16

Deleted it Otter - was getting to be a bit too much info in one thread .

OP posts:
OtterInnit · 20/05/2007 23:17

cant you just ...you know.....FLASH it for a little sweet faced otter?

PippiLangstrump · 20/05/2007 23:17

do not whisper CSWS - if I could I'd have bought one when she was still in my belly!! DH would buy her a horse now if I let him when we do not have the money, the space, the child to go on it!!

(my DH is like Reth Butler in Gone with the wind with his obsession with DD! )

why CSWS wealth needs to be explained and justified? It is certainly not a sin. although I am sure CSWS are lovely what that got to do with anything? some friends of mine are loaded, some are nice people some are not - what's got to do with their money and what they do with it?

OtterInnit · 20/05/2007 23:20

pippi - does he look like Clarke???

'oh Bonnnie'

Flamesparrow · 20/05/2007 23:21

The need to defend is because it feels like you're all telling her off for spending too much, and I don't like to think of her being picked on iyswim

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/05/2007 23:22

Otter - should be there, but only for 2 mins, then I'm deleting and going to bed!

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/05/2007 23:22

And lol at the horse pippi .

OP posts:
PippiLangstrump · 20/05/2007 23:24

hmmm well he is dark haired and tall but no not like Clarke ... much much better!

OtterInnit · 20/05/2007 23:26

tbh people DO spend an awful lot on their kids

my friend buys hers £400 bikes every couple of years ...mobiles ..clothes...private school fees etc etc

i am much more reserved and proud of how my kids are.

however i do think this is csws first chikd and she has undulged her with something she hopes will be well loved and well used for years

if i were staying in a house for a long time i may consider a pricey house - there are some wild tree houses around

people indulge their children in different ways and i try not to judge

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/05/2007 23:27

Have you nosed yet Otter? You're keeping me up!

OP posts:
OtterInnit · 20/05/2007 23:27

not there but thanks for trying

PippiLangstrump · 20/05/2007 23:27

FS it wasn't a criticism towards you more towards who critised CSWS.

I think everyone spends according to what they have, with most spending far more than they have. IMO it is much of a sin to spend 300k on a designer bag when being in overdraft than spending say 10k on a playhouse if in the bank you've got millions.

OtterInnit · 20/05/2007 23:28

just a frog!

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/05/2007 23:29
