It's rather spectacular! .

I'll load up a few pics of the inside in a mo, as I know a few people want to have a nose.

It's from this company who make tonnes of amazing bespoke playhouses .

A special thanks to prufrock, who made us aware of this company.

CSWS would you like to adopt me????

tiredemma · 15/05/2007 16:10

It is sweet.

Not for me though,( my two boys would trash it!) but can see why a little girl would love it - I had an old disused air-raid shelter at the bottom of my garden for a playhouse as a child- fell through the corrugated iron roof and tore my leg to shreds.

If you can afford it- why not?

elsieanjoanne · 15/05/2007 16:23

WOW that is a fab hidy house, my gardens big enough dont think dp's wallet is though

Kelly1978 · 15/05/2007 16:28

it is really gorgeous. I'd have liked to have got the dts a bigger one, if we owned our own property. The only thing I wonder is, that I could never have got somethign like that for mine, because they'd have done bungee jumps over the banisters, or hanged each other, etc. I guess your toddler is better behaved than mine!

Nemo2007 · 20/05/2007 11:59

So then CSWS when can the Nemo clan come for a holiday BTW DD is very lucky but I know you also feel very blessed with her.

jezebeltheharlot · 20/05/2007 12:10

I think it is ridiculous and hugely over the top for a child.

It would have been better to wait til she was older and surprised her with a playhouse.

She will be so used to the fact that she is going out to play in her 'wendy house' and will probably look down on other peoples normal playhouses!

5k...wtf...even if you can afford it. What on earth are you thinking of?

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/05/2007 12:26

I think you missed the 'IMHO' from your post jezebel .

Come on...dont say you dont agree!

jezebeltheharlot · 20/05/2007 12:56

you were expecting everyone to trample on you for being so over the top for your dd so I was just fulfilling what you expected!

wow!can i move in?with dh and 3 children!its amazing!your dd is very lucky!
i thought ours was nice!

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/05/2007 13:35

Mellowma - you get to choose the colours, so you could have it blue for boys.

Funnily enough, jezebel, that's not what I was expecting. It was unnerving that MN seemed to be in agreement with their opinions for once though, so thanks for redressing the balance .

It's made it onto the playhouse website now btw, for those that were looking earlier in the week.

misdee · 20/05/2007 13:37

i still am only because my garden is too small to fit one in. lol.

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/05/2007 13:37

misdee - I'm not that far away - bring the girls round here to play if you like .

OP posts:
jezebeltheharlot · 20/05/2007 13:37

you are welcome

do you not think that it is a little OTT for a small child and rather vulgar?

misdee · 20/05/2007 13:39

i may tajke you up on that one. i would return the favour and invite your dd to play in our but they wont all fit in lol.

noddyholder · 20/05/2007 13:40

Children are small for such a short time I think if you can afford to indulge them why not?Jezebel you are obviously green with envy which is showing itself as a bit spiteful

misdee · 20/05/2007 13:41

CSWS where abouts are you then? just loojked at your real house and its seems familar in its style.

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/05/2007 13:45

misdee - we're about 15-20 mins from WGC - out past Codicote.

OP posts:

Not at all Noddy.

We live in a large house and DH has a very good well paid job and I am a SAHM (which I am v grateful about)

I would not dream of buying something so extravagant for a small child. It is a total waste of money (IMHO! )

I needed a new kettle yesterday and some were £50 but I would never pay that for a kettle and I bought one for £6.60!! Just because I could afford £50 doesnt mean I needed to pay that for a kettle.

I just wonder if their DD will ever think 'WOW! What a fab wendy house I have!'

The answer is no because she will never know any different.
