It's rather spectacular! .

I'll load up a few pics of the inside in a mo, as I know a few people want to have a nose.

It's from this company who make tonnes of amazing bespoke playhouses .

A special thanks to prufrock, who made us aware of this company.

I love it, your DD is a lucky girl CSWS and you're a very bonkers but lovely mum for buying it for her.

noddyholder · 14/05/2007 14:51

princessmel · 14/05/2007 14:53

ElenyaTuesday · 14/05/2007 14:54

Can I have it please? Not for the kids obviously - for me!!!!

(Fantastic - what a lucky little girl)

HuwEdwards · 14/05/2007 14:55

I think your DD is officially on the property ladder!

I think you're mad too (in a nice way) but as a little girl, I would've loved it.

geekgrrl · 14/05/2007 14:55

Wow!! It's absolutely gorgeous. I'm sure they'll get loads of use out of it - fab size!

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 14/05/2007 14:56

oo00oo you show off! me and my mum were looking for one for my dd for my mums garden and looked at large american ones, some off which cost more than our flat i was wish i had the money to give my dcs that bet your dd loves you!!!

Flamesparrow · 14/05/2007 14:57

DD has asked several times since seeing the pic when we can stay with my friend again

lionheart · 14/05/2007 15:02

That's fab. Do some of them need planning permission because they are so huge?

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/05/2007 15:07

lionheart - the planning regs are on the playhouse website here - we didn't need to apply .

i was going to ask how much it cost fio, cant find it on the website!

Kathyis6incheshigh · 14/05/2007 15:31

Whoah, that's massive ! And lovely.
Are you going to give it a name or is it just 'dd's playhouse?'

Kif · 14/05/2007 15:34

is this just a ploy to get your kids to move out of home early

it's fantabulous.

Gingermonkey · 14/05/2007 15:39

oh I am soooo jealous of it, it's fab!!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/05/2007 15:41

It's not on the website yet, because it was only finished at 8pm last night .

We didn't get a nameplate for it, because we'd like another child, and didn't want to suddenly tell dd that it had to change from 'dd's playhouse' to 'dd and sibling's playhouse'!

Including all the extras (lining and insulation, letterbox, table, blackboard etc etc), it was under £5k (excluding VAT). You could obviously get a similar version cheaper if you had less extras, or reduced the size a little - the joys of a bespoke build .

Well with the future in minds, teenage years coming up etc, you only need to put a lock on it and dd can move straight in!

suejonez · 14/05/2007 15:48

d'you think it would be suitable for my mum to live in? We're looking for a granny flat...

Kathyis6incheshigh · 14/05/2007 15:49

Insulation? What's it's energy rating?

suejonez · 14/05/2007 15:50

oh don;t care about insulation, she can put on a jumper.

LittleMouseWithCLogsOn · 14/05/2007 15:51

LOl thast not your hosue

UnquietDad · 14/05/2007 15:52

CSWS:
You could have Kirsty and Phil coming round to look at that if you're not careful.

Does it have a "pleasing aspect"? Is it fully-modernised throughout and near to good transport links and reputable local schools?

compo · 14/05/2007 15:53

Fio - around 3,500k i reckon

Frizbe · 14/05/2007 17:00

tis rather lovely CSWS, so the wireless access still needs working on though, is that a spare field next door for the pony?

FrannyandZooey · 14/05/2007 17:02

Good lord, it is magnificent

how lovely for your dd
