Congratulations to the twins, @MamaKiwi!

At this point, I think I could navigate the website with my eyes closed. I wonder if the national productivity dips on results days as we all are preoccupied with hitting the refresh button.

t's quite disappointing, especially considering they announced it much earlier last year. It’s hard to understand why there’s such a delay this time, and the lack of even an approximate date makes it even more frustrating. The uncertainty is really difficult to manage at this point.

Completely agree. It’s excruciating knowing the results are likely just sitting there too. All my rational reserves are seeping away, which is making the hype even worse.

Haha it must have dipped!
Half term is almost here... but something make me feel it will take a lot more than half term to recover from this! I just want it all over with so we can quickly fill in the CAF and be done with it !

South west herts results are out

hereandthere14 · 16/10/2025 11:52

Does anyone know how to get Newstead results? Google is telling me that they will post the results. Really hope this is not true in 2025!!!

macaroniart · 16/10/2025 11:57

Kent results are out - just got an email

MamaKiwi · 16/10/2025 11:59

Passed the Kent x2, with 359 for twin one and an almost-mirroring 395 for twin two.

Can't believe it's over.

Purpletoes · 16/10/2025 12:05

Passed Kent with 366 so nice and comfortable obviously just hit a blip on bexley test.

Still have newstead to go but we only did it as local so not jolding out for that result

Fab results, well done! Given they passed the Shepway too, are they HGS bound?

Same here. Passed Kent. Sadly missed Bexley by a few points. Now waiting for Newstead. So you know if they email or post their results?

MamaKiwi · 16/10/2025 12:12

Congratulations @Purpletoes! That's a great score. And congratulations @hereandthere14!

Thank you @Pigsteperis! They will almost certainly be off to the Harvey, we're also waiting on a decision for a scholarship at an independent boarding school. They love both options, so we're in a comfortable position and I may actually sleep tonight.

Oh brilliant, my DD is at FSG so gets the bus with lots of Harvey boys! Sleep well tonight - this time last year I didn't sleep well as DD was away on a residential so we knew and she didn't! The night after she got back was the best night's sleep I'd had in months though....

Well hi, neighbour! I have a Y5 girl hopeful that she'll make it to FSG, I hope your daughter loves it there and you're pleased with the choice.

AmIAloneInThinking · 16/10/2025 12:33

Passed Kent but not with a high enough score for OOC at DGS which would have been the top choice.
Does anyone know much about the scores needed for Wilmington? Haven’t been able to find anything online!

Icantpeopleanymore · 16/10/2025 12:47

I've just checked my email in the changeover between lessons...he passed, score of 370/423...think that's fairly solid without tutoring and very minimal prep...my school take anyone who passed, not a super selective. Very relieved, more for him as he would have been very upset with himself.

Katy55 · 16/10/2025 10:29

Can’t be dealing with that 🙈

I think i'm right in saying the same thing happened in Bucks a few years ago, after which they switched to just emailing people results rather than emailing them a link to look at results.

Looks like he missed it by 2-3 points for the top grammars. We will be biting our nails for another year and hoping for a chance from a waiting list. Meanwhile he'll probably go to our no 5 on the list that we haven't even considered till recently. DAO results will come out next week but not much hope there either.

Email arrived way earlier than expected at 11:45. Good news here so in a heap of relief

Ah, I went to FSG (many moons ago) and had friends who were Harvey boys. Happy days! Congrats :)

The audacity!!!! To just say “mid next week” Couldn’t even give us a proper date.

I’m aware I sound neurotic.

May I ask what do you feel the DGS OOC cutoff score needs to be? I have a boy and just don't know if his score is high enough, especially the places reduced from 90 to 50 last year. Thanks.
