Ah sorry it was a disappointing result for you. I remember that flat feeling with dd1, even though I'd not taken it anywhere near as seriously and thought I didn't really mind either way.
My email doesn't say a score, or what rank she actually is. Just "delighted to say your daughter is in top 300, we will write to you with details of the test on 6 October.". I don't even know if these scores count towards the final ranking.
I think Latymer is quite a different test as much more maths-heavy.
Both schools are just under an hour door to door for us. I still don't know if that's a good idea. Part of me thinks it really isn't, but DD was so keen to apply and it gains its own momentum.
