Website has crashed. Now I'm out with the dog relying on my teen to text me.

😬

Just wanted to come on and say what a 2 years it has been and wish all your DC good luck in their future endeavours.

You have all been a friendly and supportive bunch, I hope everyone got what they need for the next stage (@TeenMinusTests I know you and your DD were disappointed, but it would be lovely if you kept us posted on her progress).

DS is off to do A Levels, he's going to the same college as his best mate who he didn't see through Year 11 because he (the mate) worked so hard. They are doing 2 of the same A Levels, so I have my fingers crossed his mate is a positive influence and DS starts to realise hard work is important Hmm.

Yes very best of luck to everyone's DC, they should all be so very proud to have made it through this regardless of what grades they ended up with.

DD is staying at her schools 6th form doing a bit of a combination of A Level, a BTEC and a professional qualification. Not getting the grade she was predicted in Maths has meant changing to the BTEC in one of her subjects but on reflection this could be a blessing as she doesn't cope well with the pressure of exams. Still considering appealing one of her grades but glad to put it all to bed and move on.

Wow what a journey! DD did well, grades inline with those she received in her mocks - just glad really that she got what was required to move on to 6th form college and study her chosen A levels. She's had the luxury of living very close to both primary and secondary school and is actually very excited to be getting the train to 6th form, I think it feels like a big step away from secondary and that's definitely what she needs (and no school uniform whoopee!).
Good luck everyone.
