I am disappointed that there has not been a thread this year but so am stopping 'lurking'. Not want to give any specifics as maybe there is an extra exam day although this doesnt seem to be published anywhere but did anyone on Saturday ask how many Year 7 possible boys there were, as it is hard to tell who is for which year? It is pointless to ask 1 suppose as the boys are so differnet and with multiple choice method it's impossibel for boys to to know for certian anyway but the 'verdict' was Maths and English OK but the VR hard. I think January will seem a very long month.

I had a friend whose son sat Reeds last year and they said it was quite hard!

Sassy56 did your friend's son get into Reeds? I'm pinning most of my hopes on that one as hoping it's easier to get into than RGS. Though I may be wrong!

Postman has been. Still no RGS letter. I'm starting to think they haven't sent rejections out yet this year as I've not heard of any! Any one else heard of any?

I went through this last year and remember the anxious wait so well! It is difficult to find out when the no's have gone out as its not something you would want to talk about. I believe it was this week we had confirmation of no's received however until we got past Jan I didn't relax😀. Tbh until I got the letter I didn't relax. We did reeds too and having that offer relaxed me a little. DS was fine it was just me and DH who were on edge. Good luck all of you it really is a case of no news is good news.

Hi, I'm another one waiting anxiously for news and very pleased to have this hand holding forum. I can't help thinking that today is quite a likely day for the 'no's to come out. Our post doesn't come until lunchtime so I need to find quite a few displacement activities between now and then!
DS found the exams hard - particularly Maths and VR and had to leave a few questions unanswered. So, wouldn't be too surprised by a 'no' letter - though you couldn't help feeling a bit disappointed.

Looking at previous year's threads people have phoned Kathryn Sweet before and she was apparently very helpful. I'm just too scared to do it! Though it would be good to know one way or the other! Our post normally comes around 10.30/11 - as I've discovered this week!! So I think I might have to go out for a while. DS said there were some tricky questions in VR and maths that he quested. He says English was ok but that means nothing!

Have just heard of somebody getting a 'no' - seems the letters were posted yesterday.
Post has been and gone here with nothing - will feel safer when tomorrow's been and gone!
