I am disappointed that there has not been a thread this year but so am stopping 'lurking'. Not want to give any specifics as maybe there is an extra exam day although this doesnt seem to be published anywhere but did anyone on Saturday ask how many Year 7 possible boys there were, as it is hard to tell who is for which year? It is pointless to ask 1 suppose as the boys are so differnet and with multiple choice method it's impossibel for boys to to know for certian anyway but the 'verdict' was Maths and English OK but the VR hard. I think January will seem a very long month.

I think if you're 11+ you can. It's the 13+ who can't just yet! 12+ call backs get sent on 11th Feb. It's just the nos that are due anytime now

Why do you think that 13+ no letters are due any time now 65summer? Several of those who posted last week said that they had received no letters for 13+. I think all the outright nos are out and that the remaining nos that will be sent will be for those who either had an interview or are receiving a letter asking them to come back next year for 12+.

If end of January (for 11+) promise/intent is accurate, that is tomorrow!!

I trust the information given to me by a teacher at school today who was adamant that there were 13+ nos still to come. I assume he has heard that from RGS directly. I don't know why some may be out already but I don't think we can relax just yet. Think early next week maybe

I agree with hopeful - I think outright nos for both 11 and 13+ are out. Those still to come are interview nos. Or that's what I'm hoping!!

I can't imagine there are any more nos to come except for those I mentioned as we have now heard of so many being received (last weekend and then on Tuesday last week) that the remaining ones your teacher was talking about must be the 12+ recalls.

We can speculate all we like but I'm sure there's some more to come as there haven't been any 13+ nos at our school. hope I'm wrong of course!

I asked today at school, if they knew before us (parents) the results. My DS teacher said she knew two days ago about the offer we got today. She did not say about RGS. Unfortunately she was so busy as it was rush hour, so I could not press her for more info... However, what I've got is that they know before we do. They share information... very interesting Hmm

Independent school cfm2016... but still don't know how much they know (or don't know) about RGS. Maybe they know just two days before and not too soon? oh... speculations...

Just chipping in here, but second interview yes/no letters get sent on 11th Feb - we were told this directly by the school when my son attended his second interview.

At the end of the day we are all just guessing/speculating. Which makes you think there must be a better way. I'm just clinging on to the fact that the admissions office confirmed that all 11+ nos were sent first class on Monday...

Good morning. Still nothing in the post from RGS today (we have received other post). I don't know about you but I need a big glass of wine tonight. I am still not ready to celebrate though until 13th February. Fingers (still) crossed everyone.

Our post has also been with nothing from RGS. I'm also not going to celebrate until Feb but surely, surely we must be safe!? And definitely a very large glass of wine tonight!! Good luck everyone....

Nothing in the post from RGS either. I'd like to feel hopeful. So I am. Fingers crossed for everyone... and lots of Chocolate chocolate as well (it helps with anxiety) :)

Well it's 1 Feb, a week since 11+ nos were sent and still nothing in the post today. It's going to be a very long wait now until the end of next week but surely there's no nasty surprises to come now?!
