DS is the secretive sort and gives me information strictly on a need to know basis. He seems happy enough about tomorrow's Russian history and has finished for the evening now. I'll be glad when this week is done though.

More good luck wishes to all for the next week. DD now in the bath, bag ready for the morning and sustenance for the day ready for packed lunch to be made in the morning. DD is at college 9-5 tomorrow - the longest day she has spent there in the two years! Has decided to leave her phone in her car so no chance of any issues.

Decorhate · 07/06/2015 20:56

Yes good luck to all your dcs for the coming week!

AtiaoftheJulii · 07/06/2015 22:12

Good luck to everyone starting (or continuing!) tomorrow Smile

AmazingDisgrace · 07/06/2015 22:22

Good Luck to all of our DC. History revision still occurring at the kitchen table here. Its her weaker subject and she fully accepts she should have done 20th Century rather than Empire and Freedom but hey ho.

HocusUcas · 07/06/2015 23:18

Ds has a history paper tomorrow as well - so with you all in spirit.

Onestep15 · 08/06/2015 00:04

history and politics here tomorrow so anxiety levels very high. Trying to get dd to focus on getting through the day and not to worry about all the things that might go wrong and implications for university offers etc is difficult Good luck to everyone, here's hoping for a good start to the week

hellsbells99 · 08/06/2015 00:16

DD1 has told me tonight that she hasn't actually done a full biology5 paper - they haven't even had a mock in it Confused. She has over another week before this exam but other exams to prepare for.

muffinmonster · 08/06/2015 09:50

Biology this afternoon. This is the 7th paper of 12 so DD will be past the halfway point by this evening - a good feeling!

Littleham · 08/06/2015 10:15

Exam pencil case panic this morning. It had somehow disappeared in a puff of smoke overnight. After racing round the house like a whirling dervish it was finally found in her bedroom!

DD nervous about History as she is worried about getting enough written in the time allocated. Hope she doesn't panic. Fingers crossed that the exams today go well for everyone.

Made sure her phone was left in my car. Having nightmares about phones at the moment.

Biology this afternoon here too.
That is a lot of exams Muffin!

AugustRose · 08/06/2015 13:11

I haven't been on this thread before but wanted to ask a question. DS had his History exam this morning and he texted afterwards to say it was all done and I feel bereft for some reason. History has been his favourite subject since he started reading Horrible Histories age 6 and now it's all over as he has decided not to take it at Uni.

He still has 3 other exams left so if I feel like this now how will I feel next week. Am I the only one?

Littleham · 08/06/2015 13:27

I must admit that I'm going to be very relieved when the exams are over. He doesn't have to give up History though. I'm still enjoying it constantly dragging dc to fantastic places. History is lifelong.

What does he want to do next AugustaRose? Does he have anything lined up? If he wants to go to university there are loads of trips and clubs including history / archaeology ones.

I just had a phone call from school asking for DD1.....I said she is supposed to be there in an exam! Luckily it was from someone in admin needing something from her ...and not someone telling me she hadn't turned up. They asked me to text her to go and see them after her exam, but after seeing the other thread on here about a mobile phone in an exam, I had better wait just in case she has forgotten to hand it in Confused

Of dear. Dd's first A2 paper today & she wasn't happy with it Sad. OCR Biology. Apparently one of the questions (25% of marks) was on a very small part of the spec which didn't feel she did justice to.

muffinmonster · 08/06/2015 17:13

Apparently this afternoon's Biology paper was 'atrocious'. On the plus side, it seems everyone felt the same.

Littleham · 08/06/2015 17:42

My dd said she was happy with her History paper. Loved the Biology paper (different board from your dc's though).

Nothing until next week. What a relief.

Driving test tomorrow. Shock

OP posts:
Horsemad · 08/06/2015 17:44

Good Luck for the driving test Littleham's DD!

NiceCardigan · 08/06/2015 18:58

DS happy with this morning's History next exam next one is English on Thursday.

Good luck to your DD for the driving test tomorrow Littleham. Slightly stressful timing!

hellsbells99 · 08/06/2015 19:05

Good luck Littleham's DD with the driving test.
AQA biology here went okay - but DD is not looking forward to next week's paper.

Dd thought history was ok. She got the two subjects she wanted but said the questions were strange ones. On to RS revision here, too mumslife!

Good luck to your dd for her driving test Littleham!
