Year 11 GCSE thread continued!

We seem to have reached the limit on the other one!

Feedback from DC. Physics was good but Computing (OCR) was a bit hard - no doubt due to lack of revision

Physics ok but definitely got two wrong! He put right answer then crossed it out to put wrong, he did that in biology too. Oh well its done. I'm praying he gets his predicted as he is so focused on wanting to do biology at A level. Only maths tomorrow to go! Oh and all the acting coursework!

Physics was 'medium-ish' according to ever-informative DS.

I am in awe of these children who come home and really communicate about their exam papers.

AQA Physics- good but more writing questions and fewer calculations than past papers according to DS

B4/C4/P4 good today - much better than the threes

One more day to go
one more day of sorrow
one more night for revising maths
and it'll all be done tomorrow

DS doesn't communicate either, other than OK.

Biology and the two Italian exams were OK

Chemistry, Physics and Further Maths x 2 next wee, Plus Leavers day (fancy dress and fair rides) and prom at the end of the week.

Maths this morning. At least it's the last maths paper. DS not looking forward to it. Mind you it would be odd if he were I suppose!

Just seen DD in her uniform for the last time (sixform more informal and a different colour)

Next time I see her she'll have changed to go by DH birthday/farther's day gifts.

I made my eldest pose for a "last day in uniform" photo last year, and I expect I will with dd2 next Thursday too :)

Tell me what to do - DD has her last GCSE today and then has class all afternoon today & a show (to watch) tonight.

Tomorrow I'm driving to London for her class & she needs to be in Norwich by 10am on Sunday for a practise before her last dance exam

Do we stay in London & see a show on Saturday night as a post exam treat? (there are reasons why this is the only night it can be done)

Anyone heard how Edexcel Maths went .. not heard from DD , she headed to beach straight after last exam

Just had text from DS just out of the maths exam (Edexcel) saying 'all questions answered, very A*, wow!'

What a relief, he was so nervous about this one as it's one of his most important subjects. Just hope it's not over-confidence!

Hope everyone else is OK with it.

opps pressed too soon. Her school is literally 1 min walk from beach so I think the whole of year 11 are down there today

Had the same from dd about the Maths - she was happy with it.

Thank god it's over.

Edexcel maths was "so good" according to ds.

Oh you lucky people with finished exams. DS is upstairs doing a past Further Maths paper at present.

They've been allowed to go in for exams in mufti since half-term and study leave, so we had last uniform then. However, when he plays in the school bands they wear school ties, so I will see him in it again.
