I thought I would start this tradition once again while we all wait? DS only sat Trinity...

OP posts:
Kylep · 15/02/2013 12:08

So so proud of my ds got offers from both places :-))

kimalima · 15/02/2013 12:08

Who else is T 11+... anyone?

My son should really be in the 10+ camp but little bugger decided to come a month early! So has always been the youngest in the year. But it doesn't matter now as he is in! Grin

Good luck those still waiting for posties.
And more importantly those still trying to do the sums which must be so difficult.

PopcornPizza · 15/02/2013 12:08

Oh my goodness, scholarships to both!!!!!! Stunned, amazed, thrilled, so happy!!!!

Marni23 · 15/02/2013 12:12

Popcornpizza that is fantastic!! Well done to your DS. Which will you choose?!

Marni23 · 15/02/2013 12:13

Sorry, and kylep and racer girl

Croydonmumtods · 15/02/2013 12:25

Kima - yes big dilemma but I'm not complaining. Ds started off favouring T but as process went on started to switch to W and has stuck with that. Can't make a wrong decision really both godd schools.

Croydonmumtods · 15/02/2013 12:29

Sorry missed the latest posts. Well done Racegirl KyleP and Popcorn.

PopcornPizza · 15/02/2013 12:34

Well done croydonmumtods, kima, racegirl, kylep, FAB news! Good luck to all still waiting. I'm going to run round the block a few times to see if that helps me come back down to earth!

Croydonmumtods · 15/02/2013 12:37

Popcorn - already tried that it dosnt work!! I just keep rereading the letters in case I got it wrong! Which is your preference.

Somelikeithott · 15/02/2013 12:50

My turn to report, good news. Offers with scholarships from both schools. Really thrilled for DS, will take his letters on school run for him to read himself. Post came about 1 hour ago, opened them with trembling hands.

Suz, well done to your DS, he and you should be proud of him. Kima, Croydon mum, julep, popcorn & racegirl, well done & congrats to your DSs. Sorry if I missed anyone out.

Croydonmumtods · 15/02/2013 12:53

Congratulations somelikeithot. Good luck to all still waiting.

Brownsugar3879 · 15/02/2013 12:54

Good news here too. There's a letter for DS which obviously I've opened but closed it nicely so he can open it himself after school. Smile

Brownsugar3879 · 15/02/2013 13:06

Are scholarships 50% for those who's got them? T is cheaper than W and on league tables both GCSE & A's, T is on top. I'm now trying to weigh options and compare the two schools. Anyone out there to share their opinion?

Somelikeithott · 15/02/2013 13:16

Congratulations Brownsugar well done to your DS.

Somelikeithott · 15/02/2013 13:19

Sorry just read my previous post. That was meant to read kylep, ( not julep). Must be the trembling hands......

Zato · 15/02/2013 13:33

We have found the postman !!! On the upside DS has an offer from T and W :) Downside both are full fees :(

W have enclosed fees for next year at £16,359. Anyone know full fees for T next year ?

Thanks and good luck to all those still waiting.

Kylep · 15/02/2013 13:36

Thanks guys so proud of my little master

Somelikeithott · 15/02/2013 13:40

Well done to your DS Zato, sorry I don't know the answer to your question. But I imagine the proportion of increase would be the same since they are part of the same foundation.

NotADragonOfSoup · 15/02/2013 13:44

Well done to all the successes :)

I can't find the T fees for 2013-14 anywhere online. I don't remember being told what they're going to be either.

FatalFlowerGarden · 15/02/2013 13:44

Omg, you are all getting such great results! Grin

just hoping that the law of averages doesn't mean disaster for ds!

Brownsugar3879 · 15/02/2013 13:51

Thanks guys. Has anyone been offered bursary? It's about £13 for T

Brownsugar3879 · 15/02/2013 13:53

I meant £13k

NotADragonOfSoup · 15/02/2013 14:00

For 2012-13 it was £13,056.

JohnnyT · 15/02/2013 14:00

Got great news on W! I loved the way that the school addressed my DS. It showed a nice touch although of course wasn't really that personalized. Of course, now my DS is lobbying us to attend, despite the higher fees! I was very nervous after he bombed the test for his "safety" school so didn't have sky-high expectations.

Brownsugar3879 · 15/02/2013 14:12

Has anyone got a bursary?
