There is a lot I've defended in relation to the SNP and the SG and a lot I've disagreed with.

Definitely not a cheerleader but you are of course entitled to your own interpretation of my posts however incorrect they may be.

I can't imagine how anyone who lost a loved one due to covid felt when they heard that the PM said, 'Let the bodies pile high.'

I feel like he must be itching to resign for financial reasons if nothing else. I suppose he needs to be careful though. His earning potential will be diminished if he is seen to accept the allegations against him.

I disagree with many sg Covid policies/ responses. I can't say I find the sg in any way vile. I can say that about Cummings and the Tory government.

I agree with Cummings in relation to the very poor choice between Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn.

I find them vile in their treatment of women, children, hospitality, poor people, and their cronyism with big business: just as Cameron and the Tories had their secret meals for deals in fancy restaurants, so did the SG

I'm not sure who the natural successor would be though so I suspect the party are very keen to keep him where he is in order to stay in power.

I think Gove is so unlikeable that ultimately being the successor could be a good thing and perhaps even get rid of them. However I dread to think how much devastation he will leave in his wake.

I don't know whether BJ did say the "let the bodies pile high". He may well have done, privately in anger or frustration or callousness or whatever. But Im surprised that because Dominic "Just Testing My Eyesight" Cummings said he did, means it is taken as gospel! DC - that known fountain of truthful recollection and good mate of BJ without any grudges or anything. In any case, it's not like things said to committees can't be untrue or misleading or anything. Scotland had our own proof of that in April, surely.

He said he wanted to inject himself with covid on live TV, he said he should have been the mayor in jaws rather than lockdown, he said let the bodies pile high, he refused to shut the borders (leading to 100's of thousands of deaths and a year of lost lives and livelihoods). Yet he's still in post and all the opposition are asking for is enquiries and apologies. He should be prosecuted.

Cummings isn't the only one to say it. Other sources reported it and he has now seemingly confirmed it.

It's not just DC. Others said they heard him say it.

Please don't start whataboutery re the Salmond inquiry. This is relating to the fact that 100s of thousands of lives were lost through gross incompetence, which many friends and family of the government made millions off the back of.

I don’t really care if he said that.

I do care about the cronyism and corruption.

I think it is all part and parcel of the same thing though @WouldBeGood. I'm sure he didn't mean the bodies of rich and influential men like himself?
