Got Pfizer. It sounded like they were mopping up from a fair few places as well as doing appointments of their own. They had separate queues for the two types and minimal waiting.

Numbers are looking pretty pants, hospital numbers going up again too. Please don’t let us have another lockdown 😧

20 year old ds has just got his vaccination (Moderna) up in Aberdeen. Had to queue for an hour and a half at the Tillydrone Hub, after NHS Grampian promoted that walk-up vaccinations were available. He's very happy

DH and I went along to that too @prettybird! Also got Moderna. It was quite a big queue in the rain but delighted to have been done.

Fair play to all the vaccinators and support staff as they were still going on at 5pm when we left even though they’d said they’d finish at that time.

My question is...my ds works in G42 which is a priority area, but lives in G77....can he ask to get the vaccine due to his work there, which is customer facing?

Sorry, no idea. Could he ring and ask? Or just queue at the mosque?

What mosque and are they vaccinating people near G42 without invitations? Im not on twitter or any sm and ds not exactly on top of all this....atthepubaswespeak

Glasgow Mosque was picking up people who had appointments elsewhere but couldn't have AZ for whatever reason (age). I don't think there was a general queue when I was there, and they had our details on a handwritten list - the original place had us on a printed list.

It's Glasgow Central mosque @ssd, if I were your son I'd just turn up. The worst they can do is turn him away, and from reading bbc news that doesn't look likely.

Actually going by that ds wouldn't get the vaccine there due to his age, 20, if they only do the AZ?

Really not sure to be completely honest, they said it was a trial of a walk-in set-up. NHSG shared on social media as being for over 40s only but later in the day Kirsty Blackman tweeted that it was open all age groups across the city. I was a bit unsure as knew we couldn't get AZ but they had Moderna for under 40s.

Mosque was probably the only one in the area doing not AZ. Kirky Leisure Centre was AZ only and possibly the Hydro and a Renfrew place as my fellow "redirects" had come from there. I'm not sure they weren't doing both to be fair but definitely the Mosque was doing Pfizer today.
