My kids were the same as yours at softplay ski, and that wasn't with covid....but am glad you enjoyed a coffee.

Icannever · 18/05/2021 19:25

I’ve just got an appointment for my second dose of vaccination about 9 weeks after the first, I’m not over 50 so hopefully that means they are getting through the second doses faster than planned and will soon be getting more first doses done. I guess it’s probably because they can’t use AZ on under 40s now so they’ll be using it up on second doses instead

WouldBeGood · 18/05/2021 20:39

That’s good @Icannever.

I’m over fifty so might get my second AZ soon, then

ssd · 18/05/2021 21:48

Where are you @Icannever

I read in certain G postcodes they are bringing the second doses forward

Icannever · 18/05/2021 21:53

Fife so no issues. They’ve moved on to under 40s here now so I guess any AZ they have in stock is now only good for second doses.

I’m in my early 40s but got mine about five weeks before my husband in his late 40s (I’m guessing because of some old medical history). They had a big gap here after they finished vulnerable and over 50s. Then they’ve done all over 40s (that I know off) in a matter of a week or so. Quite odd

ssd · 18/05/2021 21:58

Well thats good they are going well

I cant wait for my second jab

SoMuchForSummerLove · 18/05/2021 23:13

Same here @Icannever

My second is at 10 weeks and my parents had theirs at 9.

Jason Leitch on TV again this morning - why does he speak to everyone as if they're a group of not very bright P2 children?

WouldBeGood · 19/05/2021 08:30

Cos he is an out of touch patronising dick?

RedcurrantPuff · 19/05/2021 08:40

@RaspberryCoulis

Jason Leitch on TV again this morning - why does he speak to everyone as if they're a group of not very bright P2 children?
I am done with this guy popping up all over the place. I can’t wait until this pandemic is over and he slinks back into obscurity. He’s loving all this isn’t he.
WouldBeGood · 19/05/2021 08:43

DP can’t even listen to Off the Ball now as JL is on it peddling doom.

Is it sounding bad for ongoing restrictions?

titsintiers · 19/05/2021 08:55

Not listened to it but I can almost certainly guarantee it will be. We know how he rolls.

RedactedTaeFeck · 19/05/2021 09:24

We were having the discussion about Swinney yesterday and saying it doesn't really matter where he is placed as he's never been the victim of an original thought. He just does what he is told and then takes the blame when it goes tits up. Perfect deputy.

Are we still supposed to be judging NS on education?

I'm pretty sure that even the SNP supporters were unhappy with Swinney and yet he gets voted back in 🤷‍♀️

ICouldHaveCheckedFirst · 19/05/2021 09:28

Re 2nd jags: I'm over 60, had AZ about 7 weeks ago, no sign of appointment for 2nd yet. I'm in East Dun.

titsintiers · 19/05/2021 09:31

Apparently Fergus Ewing and Fiona Hyslop are stepping down too, will just continue you as MSPs.

Icannever · 19/05/2021 09:45

I can’t stand jason Leitch’s patronising voice. It gives my the creeps every time I hear it. I turn the radio off or the volume down whenever he starts talking. And the radio presenters seem to just lap it up, no one ever seems to question the total crap that comes out of his mouth. What’s that all about?

randomsabreuse · 19/05/2021 11:19

Currently in vaccine limbo. I'm 2 weeks off being 40, clearly included with 40+ cohort as a result get to my jab appointment and it's AZ when I turn up. If they'd said "you're near enough and stabbed me I'd have gone through with it but being told 3 times we really should not as you're not 40 meant I gave in and didn't get it!

What's the betting I get happily given AZ on my birthday?!

Scottishskifun · 19/05/2021 11:51

@randomsabreuse many of the vaccination centres now have more Pfizer due to the change just explain that you can't have AZ.
Most early 40s I know have received Pfizer anyway (NHS Grampian)

randomsabreuse · 19/05/2021 12:03

That's what I did. I now have to get to Glasgow Mosque after 1 for another try, plus get back for school pick up!

randomsabreuse · 19/05/2021 13:16

All stabbed and waiting 15 minutes. System has redeemed itself!

florafoxtrot · 19/05/2021 13:21

Glad you are sorted @randomsabreuse

WouldBeGood · 19/05/2021 13:37

Yay, @randomsabreuse!

titsintiers · 19/05/2021 13:50

Great stuff @randomsabreuse what did they stab you with?
