And actually what he said did make me think what the heck is going on

Brilliant to see positive cases under 1000 today - I know it's the Sunday effect but it's still about 300ish down on last Monday's reported figures.

🥃 let's hope it's a day for revelations from the Scottish government. A timeline would be fantastic for nurseries going back 🤞

DS turned veggie in the last lockdown, and is now very glad, having done the same. Not keen on whisky, but may manage some Scottish gin later... Happy Burns Night all

Apparently there "are no target dates for the return of schools" which is upsetting. I thought mid February was a target for at least some to go back, with a review on 2nd Feb as to whether/ how that would go ahead. OK, the target may be missed if they consider community transmission too high, but its surely a target? Why even mention it last week otherwise? It just feels like the goalposts are moving again.

I'm a terrible cynic but if English schools announce back after Easter, I'd put no pennies on anyone back at half term here. Who knows? The trailer for the last big update was we may get a timeline and we didn't, so I'll be suspending belief this time round.

Will see if we are over 1000 again tomorrow . Was that all she said about schools. No plans for them to catch up ?

DS refuses any haggis whatsoever. of all the things he remembers from nursery is being sick after being 'forced' to try haggis at age 3, and the fact veggie haggis was no better.
