So it does seem it is true. The SNP did know the day before and when the failed to "contain' the story they left the woman to "hang out to dry". This is according to her, but it doesn't look as if she's been contradicted.

Latest now are the police are letting her off. Beggars belief, so does this mean we can do whatever we want and it's fine. So sick of this. Rules for one and rules for the rest of us, who have to put up with their incompetence.

It's interesting that the self isolation restrictions weren't in place so they say so could she use this to appeal her losing the whip or anything?

MP Margaret Ferrier will face no further action by the Metropolitan police for travelling from London to Scotland by train knowing she had coronavirus.

She will be forever known as Margaret Covid and she has to deal with her own plummeting reputation. Perhaps that is justice. The people of Rutherglen and Hamilton won't hesitate to let her know their opinion of her.

Being known as Margaret Covid isn't justice in my book. This decision is disgraceful and it's absolutely no surprise that many of the general public are now ignoring the restrictions when this woman knowingly travelled after testing positive with Covid yet she supposedly hadn't done anything wrong.

It didn't surprise me, unfortunately - but not because of her status as a politician but because after hearing that the England (?) footballers weren't going to be prosecuted for a similar infraction by the Met because "it didn't prosecute after the event" - essentially saying that unless they caught someone in the act of flouting the law they wouldn't take it further , I knew she'd "get away with it"

So essentially anyone positive can get away with it as long as they don't get caught at the time

What a bloody disgrace.
