Electra - yes, I am. I have been unfortunate with 2. I have found men who are bastards often do not 'like' women deep down really - but I suppose that is pretty obvious. They do not respect women. Speaking personally, I did not pick up on subtle signs with the men I have found to be bastards. But, you often don't in life if you have not had to deal with crap like that before. I hope my radar is better now (but I am still married so not looking really) but I now analyse men's behaviour - probably too much now anyway. But then, I have been in counselling for 2 years dealing with the bad effects it has had on me, and consequently my dc.

When he is arrogant - not confident. I have found bastards to be very arrogant.
