Dearly Be-Chucked, we are gathered here today because, for whatever reason, our man has dumped us!

Whether we were dating, cohabiting or married, we are now to use therapist-speak well effed-off about the whole business and are desperate to regain our fabulosity.

Well, this is the place! This is where we regain our positivity, our self-confidence and eventually our mojos. We might think at the moment that we'd also like to regain our men, but that might not last long, as we'll soon realise that anyone who could put us through this does not deserve us.

Come in and start regaining your brilliance! I will be setting us exercises to complete that are based vaguely on self-help books, beauy tips and Feng Shui, or we'll just have a right good bitch until we feel completely drained and sick of the sound of our ex's names. Whatever works.

Honestly: I am a million times' more over X now, after looking through all the online-dating sites, than I've ever been before. Compared to AlanRickman (and/or his teenage sons), X just looks weedy and thin, with a massive nose.

I know it won't work out with any of these online dudes and that this is just a laugh... But it will one day.

It will, one day you will find someone who is worth of you beauty, you all will. Until then, we have to kiss alot of frogs to find our prince.

BEAUTlFUL · 03/11/2009 20:51

Does this work? Test...

Stop dear, it will be OK.

I'm tempted to tell you all who the 'friend' is on fish so you can all give him a piece of your mind but I won't.

MavisGrind · 03/11/2009 21:03

Hello all! I'm about to watch Gok on 4+1 as I missed it earlier. Will be multi tasking between you guys and Gok for the next hour.

Must not get drawn into oggling gawking on date sites tonight. I need some sleep!

BEAUTlFUL · 03/11/2009 21:07

No, Fluffster. Instead: you open your own account at Plenty of Fish, and look for someone new. (And maybe Friend will find you on there and think, "What's Fluffy doing on here? Why doesn't she like me anymore? Shit - she'll find someone else! Noo! I'd better not miss my chance, I'd better ask her out on a date!")

MavisGrind · 03/11/2009 21:08

OK, so good things I have done today:

Finished my first essay of my new course that is going to eventually lead me to financial independance.
Did my workout DVD for the second time this week (aiming for 3-4 times per week)
Not eaten too many biscuits but enough to not be neurotic about food.
Had a lovely time playing with my boys and reminding myself that although I get the grind, I also get the great times.

Hope everyone is having a great evening!

FluffysBeenBittenByAVampire · 03/11/2009 21:11

I've got one!! There's no picture on it though, I don't want him to think I'm stalking him or something, I signed up before I realised he was on there. I don't see him as the 'shit, I need to do something or I'll miss out' type though. I know what makes him tick, this isn't it.

He's online, I'm trying soooo hard to ignore, my MSN says offline, fb say's offline (even though I am), I can do this! I will not talk to him tonight!!

MavisGrind · 03/11/2009 21:15

Stay strong Fluffy! Stay here with the Beautiful Dumpettes (too much Gok me thinks)

FluffysBeenBittenByAVampire · 03/11/2009 21:23

Sooo hard. I just want to ask him how his day's been. I'm resisting!! He's not on fish though which is good.

BEAUTlFUL · 03/11/2009 21:25

We're the Dumplings!

BEAUTlFUL · 03/11/2009 21:27

Fluffy, take 10 minutes to scroll through profiles on Fish of other men in your area. You are treating Friend like he's the last man on Earth. Just give yourself a quick refresher course on the Huge Amounts of Men That Live in the UK, pls thx

FluffysBeenBittenByAVampire · 03/11/2009 21:29

No, I went on a date today, nice chat though There's alot of blokes out there!! Life's too short to stick to this one I can look hey!

BEAUTlFUL · 03/11/2009 21:32

You had a Date??! Where's the Date Report???You have to tell us what you wore, where you went, who he was, what he wore, what happened, whether he paid and Last Parting Words.

In fact, if any of us have dates in the future, we all have to submit these reports.

OP posts:
MavisGrind · 03/11/2009 21:33

Isn't the 'Dumplings' a bit too err, suety?

So what was the date like today then Fluffy?

MavisGrind · 03/11/2009 21:35

Not to detract from Impending Romance but my washing machine is on the blink. I am more annoyed about this than about exH. I feel this is significant.

Carry on Fluffy..

FluffysBeenBittenByAVampire · 03/11/2009 21:40

Ah right. He's from the fish site, an unemployed systems analystm went for coffee, I wore jeans and a t-shirt, he's got light brown hair, glasses, seemed a little camp though. He paid, just a sandwich and a coffee as he's not got a job but looking. Parting words "I'd give you a hug but I don't want to embarass you" (we were outside the 'friend' shop, I said I'd pop by and check on the staff as he's in a meeting elsewhere all day. Conversation flowed easily, a little camp though.

BEAUTlFUL · 03/11/2009 22:04

Shame about the campness. Next!

Where's my lovely lambypoo tonight? And Mumfun?

Was a terrible shame, nice bloke though.
