The Rules:
-The first rule about the dating thread is don't talk about it with people you're dating
-Develop a thick skin
-Do not invest emotionally too soon
-It’s all BS until it actually happens
-Trust your gut instinct
-People vanishing, lying & being generally weird is not your fault
-Know your worth
-If it's not fun, stop
-Loo update is mandatory
-No dating the thread
-Treat others as you'd like to be treated
-Any relationship you have that could get ruined by having a conversation about your feelings, standards and/or expectations wasn't really stable enough to begin with
-The things you choose to ignore/ tolerate now are the reasons you will break up in the future
If you're wondering if you're being too picky/should give another chance after the second chance/should try harder - the answer is invariably NO! You're not and you shouldn't. If this, now, is as good as it's going to get, the A game, then do you want what comes next?!
-OLD can get very time consuming. Keep doing other activities you enjoy Optional: Please give your irons (potential dates you are talking to) nicknames like Mr Scottish. Initials are allowed (Mr S) when you are an item*

@Ilovelurchers What an absolute nut job. Yes that absolutely is threatening. Are you ok??
It’s no surprise people ghost each other when this is how some people respond. You tried to do the right thing and he’s behaved like a bully.

I am OK thank you - though I am sitting out on the green outside my flat, and I must admit the fact that there are loads of families out playing is making me feel reassured - I would feel slightly on edge if there was nobody about!

But I don't think there is any need - fortunately we didn't have any kind of discussion about where I live, plus he lives quite a distance away thank God so he wouldn't know my area and be able to put any clues together about my location from stuff I might casually have mentioned (if you see what I mean).

But I hate that he has made me feel even slightly unsettled like this! (And the irony, of him saying I was the one putting him at risk...... )

@Ilovelurchers I am so glad you didn't meet him.

I'm so sorry he behaved this way. Please feel free to just block next time πŸ’œ

I saw Planescrash driving his car. He looked confused when I waved. Like old man confused.

Thank you. You are right, I think I worry too much about the feelings of men who have already shown themselves to be boundary-trampling manipulators.....

I really wish you could leave a message then block but they could still see the goodbye message. But on all the apps I use, as soon as you block the chat disappears. I need to just toughen up about that - it is what it is.

Meanwhile, Planes. Does he ever drink drive, or would he, do you think? That was my first thought when I read this post - obviously I may be being grossly unfair, even to the Crash .....
